Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a coal transport and filling system for coking furnace batteries with a conveyor arranged above or laterally above the battery in the longitudinal direction thereof, e.g. B. a conveyor belt or continuous conveyor, for transporting the coal from the coal tower or a free transfer point to the individual furnaces and with connection of the conveyor to a mobile service car for emission-free filling of the coal in the furnaces.
In the known filling cars traveling on the ceiling of the coke oven batteries, vibrations are generated due to the great weight, which can lead to damage to the heating walls. In today's large-scale coking ovens, a number of additional devices for operating, cleaning and exhausting emissions are often arranged on the filling car.
Increasing filling volume, additional facilities for environmental protection and a further increase in throughput lead to extreme loads on the coke oven batteries. With filling car weights of 200 t and more and increasing the number of filling processes dynamic and static loads result which lead to destruction in the upper area of the furnaces.
I (1987) Seite 22, Nashan: On the Way to a New Coking System). To solve this problem, a division of the previous filling wagon into a supply and a service unit has already been proposed (reprint Glückauf, Cokemaking I (1987)
From DE-PS 395 041 it is known that the coal by means of a along the battery attached conveyor, for. B. a conveyor belt, a compressed air tube or the like, from the coal bunker to a container which is brought empty from oven to oven and is placed over the chamber to be filled. This conveyor is fixed over the entire length of the furnace battery. Separate scrapers and slides must be available to transfer the coal to the lower movable containers.
The object of the invention is to propose a generic coal transport and filling system for coking furnace batteries, in which these coal stripping devices can be dispensed with and the other problems indicated do not occur.
To achieve this object, the features specified in the characterizing part of the main claim are provided. The
According to the invention, the conveying device is designed to be movable overall in the longitudinal direction of the battery under the outlets of the coal tower or the free transfer points. Only a short distance is required, which corresponds to the distance between two ovens to be filled in succession. The discharge head at the end of the conveying device is connected to the service trolley according to the method above the furnace to be filled in order to fill the coal into the furnaces. This service trolley serves on the one hand as a transfer device for the emission-free filling of the coal into the furnaces, whereby a gas-tight seal is made in relation to the filling hole and the conveying device, on the other hand all necessary operating and cleaning devices with which the conventional filling trolleys were equipped are arranged on the service trolley. In contrast to the filling car, this service car has only a very low weight and is only moved a short distance from one oven to another, possibly together with the conveyor device. The conveyor device can be suspended in particular on longitudinal rails under the battery hall roof and can be moved via drives. As a result, the furnace ceiling is completely freed of coal transport facilities that have to travel the long way from the coal tower to the individual furnaces. The coal transport and filling devices are moved especially when empty in order to keep the loads and vibrations on the masonry low. In order to achieve an emission-free filling process, it may be useful for the coal containers on the service car to consist of closed coal transfer hoppers with a permanent coal residue cushion. To measure the furnace batch, a conveyor belt scale can also be arranged on the discharge head of the movable conveyor device. This means that the elaborate weighing bunkers under the coal tower can be dispensed with and the exact filling quantity for each individual oven can still be determined.
To distribute the required amount of coal to the individual transfer hoppers or filling holes, the invention further provides that a cross conveyor with adjustable cross-section outlet openings is arranged under the longitudinal conveyor belt or the service car. These outlet openings are adjusted so that the amount of coal calculated for each fill hole is allocated. As a check that the corresponding amount of coking coal is actually allocated, a bulk flow meter is provided between the cross conveyor, which is designed, for example, as a trough chain conveyor, and the transfer hopper. This has the task of weighing the amount of the respective filling holes to be filled and of transmitting them to the central control room. If the target quantity is not reached or exceeded, the bulk flow meter is connected to the drives for the gate valves for automatic regulation of the filling quantity or for changing the cross section of the outlet openings.
With a view to avoiding emissions when the coal is transferred to the conveyor belt, it has proven expedient to equip the movable conveyor belt with preferably stationary suction devices arranged at the transfer point of the coal. These suction devices can be arranged both above the conveyor belt in the vicinity of the transfer point and below. In order to prevent dust or coal from trickling down over the entire length of the conveyor belt and thus to nuisance the operating personnel on the furnace roof, it is proposed to arrange a firmly connected sheet metal trough below the entire conveyor belt, into which a stationary suction nozzle protrudes in order during the process of the tin trough to be able to vacuum the deposits. The vacuum cleaner nozzle is arranged so that the bottom of the tin tray is not touched directly. The suction nozzle is held at a constant distance from the sheet metal trough via guide rollers. The suction nozzles below and above the conveyor belt are connected to a stationary dedusting system installed nearby or in the coal tower. The in Solids that accumulate dust filters can be returned to the coal bunkers by an attached pheumatic transport device.
According to the invention, the coal conveying device can also alternately serve for charging two coke oven batteries if the coal tower or the transfer point is arranged between them. For this purpose, the invention provides that the conveyor belt has a discharge head at both ends and the conveyor device of the conveyor belt is reversible.
The invention is explained in more detail, for example, with the aid of the attached FIGS. 1 to 5.
Under the discharge points of the coal tower, the conveyor device consisting of a conveyor belt (8) can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the battery (see arrows). The entire conveying device is suspended from the longitudinal rails (10) of the battery hall roof (12) and has the discharge heads (9), (9a) at both ends. Between the discharge heads (9), the closed transfer funnels (5) and the filling holes (2) a gas-tight seal is made for the filling process. To ensure the best possible utilization of the conveying device, each battery can have its own service trolley, so that a furnace of the battery (1) is first filled with the help of the service trolley (4), while the service trolley (4a) shown in dashed lines on the battery (1b) Service work is carried out and is connected to the discharge head (9a) in preparation for the filling process. Immediately after the filling process on the battery (1) has been completed, the filling process for an oven on the battery (1b) can be started by reversing the conveyor device of the conveyor belt (8). The service cars (4a) and (4b) shown in dashed lines are each shown above an end furnace of the battery (1b), which also means the maximum travel distance of the Conveyor becomes clear.
The perspective view according to FIG. 2 shows in particular the suspension of the conveyor device with two conveyor belts (8) lying next to one another via drives (11) on longitudinal rails (10). The conveyor belts (8) end in the discharge heads (9) covered with a housing, the discharge funnels of which are connected to the cross conveyor (6) with a dustproof closure (7) with telescopes. This cross conveyor (6) forms a closed unit with the transfer funnels (5) and has suitable metering devices for filling the required amounts of coal into the individual filling holes.
This dosage or filling quantity distribution can be seen more clearly from FIG. 4. When the coking coal is delivered by the conveyor belt (8), the trough chain conveyor (6) arranged underneath takes over the distribution to the transfer hopper (5). On each transfer funnel (5) there are adjustable outlet openings (14) in cross section. The outlet cross sections are set so that the amount calculated for each fill hole is allocated. The quantity of coal filled in each individual transfer hopper (5) is checked by a bulk flow meter (15), the coal falling onto an inclined baffle plate and the resulting horizontal force being measured and taken as a measure of the quantity poured in. The measurement signal is transmitted to a central control room. If the target quantity is not reached or exceeded, the cross section of the outlet opening (14) is corrected. This can be done manually or automatically using adjustment devices. The automatic adjustment can take place from the control room or can be operated directly by the bulk flow meter (15). In Figure 4, the coal flow on the way from the discharge head (9) over the trough chain conveyor (6) to the transfer hopper (5) is shown in dashed lines. A carbon residue cushion (22) is held in the transfer funnels (5) in order to avoid possible filling gas emissions. With the help of the end support screws (16), the coal is filled into the individual filling holes (2) of the coke oven battery (1) via vertical downpipes.
The conveyor (8) is suspended from this battery hall roof on longitudinal rails (10) and only the service trolley (4) is supported on the furnace ceiling by the rails (3). Overall, it has been shown that the weight of the conveyor is only a fraction of that of the previous conventional filling car. This makes an overall lighter and less expensive construction possible. Above all, however, the load on the masonry is very low with a view to increasing the chamber volume of the coke ovens.
In Figure 5, the suction device according to the invention at the transfer points of the coal on the conveyor belt (8) is shown schematically. The coal dust whirled up when it hits the conveyor belt is extracted via a suction nozzle (18). Under the conveyor belt there is a fixed trough (20) connected over its entire length for collecting the trickle coal falling from the lower conveyor belt. From this side, a stationary vacuum cleaner nozzle (19) protrudes into this tin trough, which does not directly touch the bottom of the tin trough (20), but is kept at a distance by means of lateral guide rollers. The vacuum cleaner nozzles (18) and (19) are connected to a stationary dry dedusting system via a suction line (17). By means of the method of the conveying device (8) according to the invention in the longitudinal direction of the battery under the coal tower, the sheet metal trough (20) fixedly connected to the conveying device is automatically guided past the suction nozzle (19), so that the sheet metal trough is cleaned regularly.
