Abstract
Verfahren zur Herstellung von 6-Hydroxycapronsäureestern durch Umsetzen von 5-Formylvaleriansäureestern mit molekularem Wasserstoff in Gegenwart von Hydrierkatalysatoren bei erhöhter Temperatur, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Umsetzung bei einer Temperatur von 40 bis 140°C durchführt. Process for the preparation of 6-hydroxycaproic acid esters by reaction of 5-formylvaleric acid esters with molecular hydrogen in the presence hydrogenation catalysts at elevated temperature, characterized in that that one carries out the reaction at a temperature of 40 to 140 ° C.
