- the constitution in integrated form of a transformer-ignition block has, compared to the prior art, the advantages of reducing losses between the coil and the spark plug, of ensuring a better seal facilitating cold starts and of decreasing very notably the emission of radioelectric interference, more particularly, if the body 11 is made of a magnetic metallic material constituting a shielding of the coil and of the spark plug.
