Abstract

Bei diesem Verfahren wird unmittelbar vor einer Umformung des sich in Längsrichtung bewegenden strangförmigen Gutes (1), wie Draht, Rohr, Band, Stange und Profil unmittelbar vor der Umformzone ein definiertes Temperaturfeld erzeugt und räumlich begrenzt. Dazu wird ein Teil der bei der Umformung entstehenden und entgegen der Bewegungsrichtung des Gutes zurückgeführten Wärmemenge genutzt. Gleichzeitig mit der Aus­ bildung des Termperaturfeldes wird ein Reaktionsraum mit einer im Vergleich zur Umgebungstemperatur erhöhten Temperatur erzeugt und dabei ein Temperaturbereich so eingestellt, daß sich im Reaktionsraum ein plastisch bis flüssiger Zustand des auf dem Gut aufgebrachten Beschichtungswerkstoffes ergibt und gelangt so durch die Umformzone. Die Vorrichtung umfaßt ein oder mehrere Elemente (6, 8, 10), wie ebene oder gekrümmte Platten, Siebe, Nezte oder Rohre, die vor der Umformeinrichtung (2, 3, 4) so angeordnet sind, daß sie keine unmittel­ bare Berührung zum strangförmigen Gut (1) haben und über Wärmeleiter (5) mit der nachfolgenden Umformeinrichtung (2, 3, 4) verbunden sind.
