Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a children's chamber pot, with an acoustic signal transmitter, in particular in the form of music, with two exposed contacts on the bottom of the pot which can be connected to one another by a conductive liquid and which control the acoustic signal transmitter.

Such a chamber pot is already known as prior art, which is designed such that when a current flows between the two contacts, solid-state switching means become conductive and thus control sound-generating means (DE-OS 2 359 936). A transistor is used here, and the two contacts also have different materials in order to generate an electromotive force. Furthermore, a switch is provided which normally keeps the sound-generating means out of operation and which can be actuated by the weight of a child sitting on the chamber pot in order to enable the sound-generating means to be actuated. The entire arrangement is thus constructional and expensive, so that the overall economic success is very limited.

The state of the art also includes children's chamber pots whose bottom is equipped with a membrane connected to a musical mechanism (DE-AS 1 013 402) or which have a mechanical musical mechanism in the double wall of the children's chamber pot (DE-GM 71 35 176) .

Furthermore, a children's chamber pot with a mechanism is known, which is attached within easy reach of a seated child on the front of the chamber pot (DE-GM 70 09 163). Other known constructions are designed such that a moisture indicator with a lamp is used (DE-GM 70 36 643) or a temperature sensor is used which triggers an acoustic and / or optical signal (DE-0S 26 19 199). All of these known embodiments have the disadvantage mentioned at the outset that these constructions are costly and complex, so that their field of application is also severely restricted.

In contrast, the present invention has for its object to provide a children's chamber pot of the type mentioned, which is inexpensive to manufacture with simple construction and quick assembly of the functionally important elements.

This object is achieved in that the contacts are connected directly to a music module attached to the underside of the pan base as a signal generator, next to which a loudspeaker is arranged on the pan base, the music module and the loudspeaker being connected by a common cover closed by a lid integrated housing are surrounded the pot bottom. This advantageously results in a simple structure, since the music module consisting of printed circuit board, chip and battery and the loudspeaker simply have to be inserted into the housing and fastened to the underside of the base of the pot, after which the entire unit is closed off by the lid and the assembly is thus carried out is finished.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the music module and the contacts protruding through the bottom of the pot can be connected to the bottom of the pot via an adhesive sealing layer be, for example, this adhesive sealing layer is designed as a silicone layer. The housing is designed so that it holds the speaker by lip-like projections. The cover in turn has a circumferential outer groove in the wall, in which an elastic tensioning element can be incorporated, which clamps the cover with the outer wall of the housing in a force-locking manner.

The children's chamber pot 1, shown schematically in FIG. 1, has a seat 2 which merges into a pot bottom 3 via walls 20. 1 and 2 there are two adjacent contacts 4 and 5, which protrude up to the surface of the pot base 3 and are flush with it. These contacts 4 and 5 are directly connected to a music module 6, which is attached to the underside of the pot base 3.

This music module 6 is connected to a flat loudspeaker 7 via connections 17 according to FIG. 2. It can also be seen from FIG. 2 that the flat loudspeaker 7 and the music module 6 are each arranged in a slot-like housing in their end regions 13 and 18. Here, the design is such that two lip-like mounting sections 11 and 12 connect to the end region 18, which largely surround the flat loudspeaker 7 and thus contribute to its mounting.

In the free area between the music module 6 and the flat loudspeaker 7, two support elements 27 and 28 according to FIG. 3 are arranged, which have the task of supporting the cover with the housing after it has been installed. From Fig. 3 it can also be seen that the housing 8 is integrated with the bottom 3 of the pot.

FIG. 4 shows the attachment of the music module 6 to the pot base 3 with the aid of a sealing layer 10, which can be a silicone layer, for example. This sealing layer 10 causes the music module to stick to the pan base 3, this sealing layer simultaneously penetrating into the space between the contacts 4 and 5 and the respective bores in the pan base and thus stripping the interior of the pan base from the music module 6. After the flat loudspeaker 7 has been introduced into the end region 18 of the housing 8 and the music module 6 has been glued via the sealing layer 10 in the end region 13 of the housing 8, the assembly of the signaling unit is ended, after which the cover 9 shown in more detail in FIGS Housing 8 is slipped. To connect the cover 9 and the housing 8, the cover 9 consisting of the base 15 and the wall 16 has an outer groove 14 in the region of the wall 16, in which an elastic tensioning element is used, for example a rubber ring. This rubber ring causes the wall 16 of the cover 9 to press against the outer wall of the housing 8, thereby a positive connection between cover 9 and housing 8 is achieved.

In a manner not shown, there is also the possibility that a switch is used which can be operated from the outside and serves to separate the connection between the contacts 4, 5 and the music module 6. This can stop the acoustic playback, for example when the children's chamber pot is cleaned. Otherwise, the function of the acoustic signal generator is such that when the pot base 3 becomes damp, the two contacts 4 and 5 are closed, as a result of which the music module 6 is actuated and a child's melody sounds via the loudspeaker 7.

The entire arrangement with loudspeaker 7 and music module 6 is located within the housing 8 integrated with the pot base 3, is very flat, easy to assemble and inexpensive to manufacture.

Claims (11)

1. Children's potty (1) having an acoustic signal transmitter, in particular in the form of music, having two free-lying contacts (4, 5) on the potty bottom (3), which can be connected to each other by a conducting liquid and which control the acoustic signal transmitter, characterised in that the contacts (4, 5) are connected directly to a music module (6), fastened to the underside of the potty bottom (3) and acting as a signal transmitter, next to which on the potty bottom (3) there is disposed a loudspeaker (7), and in that the music module (6) and the loudspeaker (7) are surrounded by a common housing (8) which is closed off by a cover (9) and is integrated with the potty bottom (3).
2. Potty according to Claim 1, characterised in that the music module (6) and the contacts (4, 5) projecting through the potty bottom (3) are connected via an adhesive sealing layer (10) to the potty bottom (3).
3. Potty according to Claim 1 and 2, characterised in that the loudspeaker (7) disposed next to the music module (6) is secured by the housing (8).
4. Potty according to Claim 3, characterised in that the housing (8) exhibits at least two securing elements (11, 12) in the area of the loudspeaker (7).
5. Potty according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the housing (8) is designed like an elongated hole, there being respectively disposed in the rounded end areas (13, 18) the loudspeaker (7) and the music module (6).
6. Potty according to Claim 4 and 5, characterised in that the securing elements (11, 12) are in lip-shaped contact with a rounded end area (18).
7. Potty according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the cover (9) is fastened via a clamping connection to the outside of the housing (8).
8. Potty according to Claim 7, characterised in that the cover (9) exhibits a circumferential outer groove (14) in the wall (16), in which an elastic tensioning element can be encased.
9. Potty according to Claim 7 and 8, characterised in that, between the cover (9) and the potty bottom (3), in the interior of the housing (8), there is disposed at least one supporting element (27, 28).
10. Potty according to one of the preceding claims, characterised by a switch for cutting the connection between the contacts (4, 5) and the music module (6).
11. Potty according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the music module (6) comprises a printed circuit board having a chip and a battery.
