Abstract

In a known edging method for the production of pulleys with multiple V-profiles, a cleavage/edging roller is used which, in its central, effective working region, has a small cutting tip projecting above the circumference of the cleavage/edging roller. In der gattungsbildenden DE-PS 35 39 835 wird eine Spalt-/Stauchrolle beschrieben, mit der angestrebt wird, daß beiderseits des Mittelteils einer Ronde zwei senkrecht zum Mittelteil stehende Flansche ausgeformt werden, die in ihrer Gesamtheit eine größere Wandstärke als das Mittelteil aufweisen, wobei aber ein Auswandern der Ronde während des Verformungsvorganges, ein Einknicken oder ein Reißen des gebildeten zylindrischen Teils mit Si­cherheit ausgeschaltet wird. Diese Wulst wird dann anschließend durch weitere Stauchrollen so bearbeitet, daß die zylindrische Auflagefläche geschaffen wird, in der die letzte Stauchrolle die Nuten der Poly-V-Scheibe einpreßt. Hierbei ist es nunmehr möglich, daß auch im mittleren Bereich dieser Nuten, d. h. also fluchtend mit der Ebene der Ronde, eine Erhebung vorgesehen ist. Dieses ist dann nötig, wenn bei­spielsweise drei Erhebungen über die Breite der Auf­lagefläche vorgesehen sein sollen oder fünf, d. h. also eine ungerade Anzahl, und diese Anzahl der Er­hebungen richtet sich nach dem Einsatzzweck der Poly-V-Scheibe.In other words, it is proposed to provide a compression groove in the compression roll on its working side, that is to say on its circumference, which therefore works and works in reverse, like the cutting tip described in the generic literature reference and which bulges the circumferential side of the actual blank.
