Abstract

Apparatus (2) for firing at least one jet of electrically charged liquid, which apparatus (2) comprises propellant means (42,44) for propelling the jet of liquid from the apparatus (2) towards a target and electronically operated liquid-charging means (12) for causing the fired jet of liquid to be electrically charged.
