Abstract

Zur Simulation von großkalibrigen Hochleistungsgeschossen in unterkalibriger Bauart wird für verhältnismäßig kleine Schießplätze ein Treibspiegel für ein an sich bekanntes Geschoß nach der DE-PS 32 01 629 vorgeschlagen.
Der Treibspiegel (13) gewährleistet beim Austritt aus einem Einstecklaufgerät (40) und Eintritt in ein im Kampfpanzer-Waffenrohr liegendes Schutzrohr, daß keine Teile seitlich abfliegen können. Damit werden Beschädigungen des Kampf­ panzerwaffenrohres und Störungen des Geschosses beim Durchfliegen des Schutz­ rohres vermieden. For the simulation of large-caliber high-performance projectiles with a sub-caliber design, a sabot for a projectile known per se according to DE-PS 32 01 629 is proposed for relatively small shooting ranges.
The sabot (13) ensures that no parts can fly sideways when it emerges from a plug-in treadmill (40) and enters a protective tube located in the main battle tank weapon barrel. Damage to the battle armored barrel and disruptions to the projectile when flying through the protective barrel are thus avoided.
