Claims (3)

1. A centrifugal governor for an internal combustion engine, the governor comprising: a governor drive shaft (1) and a sleeve (2) axially slidable thereon and arranged to be acted upon by the force of centrifugal weights (3); a governor lever (4) the swivelling motion of which is coupled with the axial displacement of the sleeve (2); and a ball bearing (5) arranged on the lever (4) and an outer cap (6) of which rolls on the sleeve (2), characterized in that the lever (4) surrounds the drive shaft (1), and in that two ball bearings (5) are arranged on the lever (4) and positioned so as to be located on opposite sides of the shaft (1).
2. A centrifugal governor according to claim 1, characterized in that the axes (7) of the two bearings extend parallel with the lever's swivel axis (8).
3. A centrifugal governor according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the bearings (5) are sealed against the ingress of dirt.
