Abstract

L'épurateur d'air de locaux est du type comprenant un caisson sensiblement parallèlipipédique 1 qui doit être placé en haut d'un local A et qui présente une façade 2, une face supérieure 3 et une face inférieure 5, caisson 1 qui a une entrée d'air, une sortie d'air, une chambre d'ionisation 30 à parois internes conductrices et contenant un fil conducteur 38 devant être parcouru par un courant électrique à haute tension, l'air étant mis en mouvement de l'entrée vers la sortie par au moins un mécanisme tel qu'une turbine 20-21.
Il est caractérisé en ce que l'entrée d'air est située sur la façade 2 et la sortie sur la face inférieure 5 du caisson 1, la chambre d'ionisation 30 étant formée par deux flasques latéraux 33 et par une paroi galbée 31 qui pré­ sente depuis l'entrée une partie ascendante, une voûte supé­ rieure 36 ayant un centre de courbure coïncidant sensiblement avec l'emplacement du fil conducteur 30, et une partie des­ cendante 37 associée à un déflecteur transversal 32 qui s'étend depuis le bas du caisson 1 vers le centre de courbure de la voûte 36 jusqu'à un sommet situé selon une ligne 39 située plus haut que l'arête inférieure 34 de la partie ascendante.
