Abstract

A production tubing string (1) which can be inserted into the bore hole (2) of a deep well and is intended for delivering pumpable media from the bore hole (2) comprises, at its bottom end, a delivery pump (3), in particular a Moineau pump, consisting of a stator (4) and a rotor (7), and also a separate drive linkage (8) for the rotor (7), which drive linkage (8) is connected to a drive motor (10) arranged at the top end of the production tubing string (1). In this arrangement, the stator (4) and the rotor (7) form a pump unit (3) which can be moved as one by means of the drive linkage (8) for the rotor (7) into the production tubing string (1) into an operating position at its lower end and can be pulled up out of the operating position, and, in the operating position of the pump unit (3), the housing (5) of the stator (4) in the production tubing string (1) is sealed off from the latter and secured against rotation. <IMAGE>
