Description
The invention relates to a glass facade with glass panels, each of which is inserted with intermediate filling of a permanently elastic mass with its upper and lower edges in holding grooves of supporting profiles, with at least one of the side surfaces of each holding groove of the supporting profiles being inclined outwards and the glass panels in that side surface or have edge areas associated with these side surfaces of the surface inclination, according to patent no. 379.186.
Such glass facades have already proven their worth, since they allow the glass panels to be inserted flush into the supporting structure and not only ensure an adhesive connection of the glass panels to the supporting profiles due to the permanently elastic mass, but also for their mechanical retention without risk of damage in the holding grooves of the supporting profiles. However, until now the supporting profiles had to be attached to the facade substructure first and then the glass panels on the Construction site are used in the support profiles, so that the glazing work can only be carried out in good weather and are still comparatively cumbersome. Apart from that, these facades can only be made with fixed glass panels and the use of pivoting panels is impossible.
The invention is therefore based on the object to eliminate these deficiencies and to improve a glass facade of the type described in such a way that there is a further simplification of the manufacture and assembly and glass panels can also be pivotally installed.
The invention solves this problem in that the support profiles together with lateral connecting profiles form individual frames which can be preassembled on the glass panels, the profile webs running on the inside of the glass panels merging into a connecting flange facing away from the glass panels for fastening the frame to a facade substructure. This profile frame makes it possible to provide the individual glass panels with the supporting and connecting profiles at the factory and to prepare them for rational completion of the facade by inserting them into the profile frame. The finished glazed frames then only need to be attached to the facade substructure with their connecting flanges on the construction site, which can be done quickly and practically in any weather, and the facade is ready.
In principle, the frames with their connecting flanges can be attached to the substructure in any suitable manner, but it is particularly advantageous if the connecting flanges according to the invention Connection profiles with retaining bolts for hanging the frame in hook-shaped receiving slots of the substructure are fitted, as the frame can be assembled in a few simple steps by simply hanging it in, whereby the suspended frame can only be secured against unintentional unhooking, for example by means of fixing screws.
If a preferably U-shaped straightening strip is provided between the connecting profiles of two adjacent frames, the frames and thus the glass panels can be aligned with one another without any problems, which means a considerable ease of assembly, in particular when fastening by hanging the frames.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the connecting flanges with hinge fittings or the like. Equipped for pivotable articulation of the frame on the substructure, so that windows that can be opened can optionally be installed in the facade through this pivotable frame.
In order to simplify the sealing of the joints remaining between the adjacent frames, cover strips can preferably be attached to the connecting flanges of the support profiles, as a result of which the joints are closed to the inside and can therefore be filled quickly and cleanly with permanently elastic sealing compound.
Horizontalschnitt. In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated purely schematically in one exemplary embodiment, specifically showing
1 and 2 a glass facade according to the invention in vertical section and horizontal section.
The
The
