Description
The invention relates to a connecting terminal with contact plugs seated on a base plate in the form of folded sheet metal strips sizing on the base plate and with a passage of the base plate for holding the connecting terminal on a pin.
A terminal of this type is punched out of a sheet metal strip and bent. The contact plugs are designed as folded sheet metal strips and are adapted to the plug thickness desired in each case. The base plate engages with a passage over a pin of the housing or another receiving part. It is held in place with a screw connection, a spring clip, a spring washer or the like.
The object of the invention is such a design of the connection terminal that the same can be clamped on a spigot.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the terminal consists of a spring material, that the base plate has two spring segments protruding into the passage and that two further spring segments protrude from the outer strips of the contact plug into the passage.
The invention differs from the prior art in that it is held in place by spring segments formed in one piece on the sheet metal blank. The spring segments can largely spring and clamp independently of one another, because they sit in pairs opposite each other on the base plate and on the contact plugs. The connection terminal can be clamped directly onto a plastic or metal housing pin or onto a plug pin.
A particularly good shape and function of the spring segments is achieved in that the outer section of each contact plug is bent through 90 ° to the respective spring segment and that the two spring segments project into the passage facing one another.
The function of the spring segments is particularly uniform in that the spring segments are each quarter circle segments and that the two spring segments of the base plate are offset by 90 ° with respect to the spring segments of the outer sections, so that the spring segments essentially completely fill the passage in the circumferential direction.
Mutual hindrance of the spring segments is precluded by the fact that a slot remains free between adjacent spring segments.
For secure clamping, the invention provides that the end edges of the spring segments have fillets, the profile of which is adapted to the circumference of the pin. The grooves can be arcuate for a pin with a circular profile. For a spigot with a rectangular or square profile, the grooves can have an angular profile.
- Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine Anschlußklemme,
- Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie II-II in Fig. 1,
- Fig. 4 eine Darstellung des ebenen Blechzuschnittes.
- 1 is a plan view of a terminal,
- 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1,
- Fig. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in Fig. 1 by a contact plug and
- Fig. 4 is an illustration of the flat sheet metal blank.
The sheet metal blank forms a base plate 1 with an approximately circular passage 2, on the opposite circumferential areas of which quarter-
The passage 2 has a comparatively large diameter within the base plate 1. Two
Fig. 2 shows a housing part 14 with a
A pin with a circular cross section is shown. In this case, the grooves have an arcuate, preferably circular section profile. For a right-angled or square spigot, the grooves have an angular profile.
