Instead of the pulse counter for instance a magnetic tape extending along the cylinder, one or more photocells, microswitches etc. can be used as detecting element.
- breaking rollers 5 and 6 need not be fastened to the cylinder but can of course be attached to other places in the vicinity of the cylinder.
