Abstract

A device which is useful in replacing the tie knot normally used in securing a person's nectie in position comprises an apertured body (13) formed with channels (18,19) diverging from an orifice (12). A tapered plug (15) is provided for insertion into the orifice (12) to clamp material passed along the channels (18,19) to the orifice (12).
