Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device according to the preamble of claim 1 and claim 5.
- Electrical high-voltage circuit breakers are used to connect or disconnect a high-voltage network, especially in the event of a short circuit. For this purpose, it is necessary to blow an inert gas, preferably sulfur hexafluoride, against the arc drawn between them after the switching contacts have been separated, in order to deionize the gas ionized by the arc, in particular at zero crossing, and thus to extinguish the arc.
- an inert gas preferably sulfur hexafluoride
- blow piston switches have recently been used, in which the movable switching contact piece is connected to a compression cylinder which, when switched off, is pulled over a fixed piston, thereby creating the space between the cylinder and the Piston is reduced in size and thus the gas contained therein is compressed, whereby a sufficient pressure to generate a sufficient quenching gas flow to the arc is generated.
- Hydraulic, mechanical or pneumatic drives are used to drive the movable switch contact piece and the associated blow piston or blow cylinder.
- the piston of a piston-cylinder arrangement is set in motion by means of a hydraulic fluid or by means of compressed air, which piston is connected to the blowing piston or blowing cylinder and to the switching element.
- mechanical drives the energy stored in a spring is used.
- the pressure fluid which can be hydraulic oil or compressed air
- an energy store which generally has the shape of a cylinder, in which a piston is arranged so that it can be moved back and forth.
- the pressure fluid is on one side of the piston and a gas or mechanical spring on the other side.
- Gas springs in which the compressibility of the gas is used to store the drive energy, have the problem that the gas cannot flow out of the gas spring chamber. Over time, the gas springs in an energy store lose their effect, with the result that the pressure fluid provided by the store no longer has sufficient pressure, or that the required amount of pressure fluid can no longer be drawn off.
- High-voltage circuit breakers must be able to switch a certain switching sequence to switch off a short circuit.
- the drive for such a high-voltage circuit breaker must be designed so that it internationally recognized rules and regulations are sufficient.
- the energy storage of the drive is to be designed so that the required amount of pressure fluid for several on / off circuits or one off / on / off circuit of the circuit breaker is released practically immediately can, without charging the energy store by means of generally external electrical energy, since the time period between the individual switching operations must be considerably shorter than the minimum time period required for charging the energy store.
- the energy store, which provides the pressure fluid must contain such an amount of pressure fluid that even the last switch-off can be accomplished safely.
- the memory With the O-CO switching sequence, the memory must accordingly be made smaller and, of course, with the 4 ⁇ CO switching sequence, the memory must be built very large. Leakage losses in the gas spring (gas accumulator) and their spring characteristics must be taken into account. The same naturally also applies to a mechanical spring instead of the gas accumulator.
- hydraulic accumulators With hydraulic accumulators, a permanent pressure of approx. 300 bar is used, so that special attention must be paid to the sealing of all hydraulic components. In addition, fluid pumps for refilling the reservoir, valves, and other hydraulic components are required, which is why such a hydraulic drive is relatively expensive.
- a chemical drive in which oxyhydrogen gas is used has become known from DE-PS 1 287 677.
- water is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen (oxyhydrogen gas), which gas mixture is fed to the piston-cylinder arrangement.
- oxyhydrogen gas oxygen
- spark plugs on both sides of the piston With spark plugs on both sides of the piston, the detonating gas is ignited according to the desired switching stroke.
- the main disadvantage here is that the reactants are supplied too slowly when the switching cycles are carried out.
- the object of the invention is to create a method and a device for carrying out the method of the type mentioned at the beginning, with which switching cycles according to specified standards, in particular according to the US standard, with four switch-offs and a 15 second pause in between without great effort can be realized.
- the chemical drive according to the invention is simple and reliable. A certain amount of oxygen required for the number of switching operations per cycle is already filled into the combustion chamber before the switching command, so that only the fuel has to be introduced or injected after the command has been issued, which is particularly advantageous. Gasoline is particularly suitable as a fuel, which is available worldwide and can be stored for long periods without any problems. Since the injection pump, which injects the sufficient amount of fuel into the combustion chamber with one pump stroke, can wear out when using gasoline, an amount of 1% of a polyalcohol, preferably polyglycol, is expediently admixed. This addition practically does not change the reaction behavior of the gasoline, but has the advantage of sufficient lubrication for the piston of the injection pump.
- ethanol is also suitable and the oxidizing agent is pure oxygen.
- reaction products burned in the first circuit do not interfere with the next circuits and can accordingly remain in the reaction space, especially in the case of the O-CO switching sequence.
- a so-called high-energy ignition device is expediently used to ignite the reaction mixture, in which approximately ten times the energy released in a normal transistor ignition device used in motor vehicle construction is converted.
- the surface of the combustion chamber is of particular importance. It has to be corrosion-resistant since a certain amount of water is generated.
- the piston or the piston-cylinder arrangement can expediently consist of stainless steel made of steel with a suitable corrosion-resistant metallic or ceramic protective layer.
- the mixture formation in the combustion chamber is of particular importance. It influences the ignition and the course of the reaction in both liquid and gaseous fuels.
- eddies can be generated to form a sufficient mixture and the ignition can be optimized accordingly.
- a bundled or a conical jet can be generated by injection using a throttle pin nozzle or a triple jet using a three-hole nozzle. The latter has proven to be the cheapest solution to date.
- the combustible mixture or the fuel should be brought as close as possible to the spark plug.
- the fuel is expediently sprayed tangentially past the spark plug. Direct spraying of the fuel on the spark plug could lead to ignition failure because the sparking is hindered.
- the injection time of the fuel is up to three milliseconds: the injection pump used is a pump that pumps out a defined amount of fuel with a pump surge and injects it into the combustion chamber. In any case, choose the injection time so that ignition delays are as small as possible and the requirements regarding the switch's off-time are met.
- inert gases such as nitrogen (N2)
- N2 nitrogen
- the ignition time and in particular the reaction rate are influenced by the inert gas.
- the pre-pressure level is increased by the inert gas, so that the maximum pressure becomes greater due to the increased amount of gas.
- the increased pressure also increases the kinetic energy of the piston.
- the piston speed can be increased by admixing the N2 gas, which has been confirmed in tests. Because of the thermal energy stored in the inert gas, the pressure drop after the reaction is slower, which is why the switching pin movement is favorably influenced.
- nitrogen you can of course also fill in a sufficiently large amount of oxygen; the effect of this excess amount of oxygen is the same as that of inert gas.
- the oxygen is provided, for example, by means of an oxygen cylinder or electrochemically, for example by means of water electrolysis or by means of air separation using suitable methods which are not explained in more detail here.
- the latter would have the advantage that the supply of oxygen would be more independent, which is particularly advantageous when switches are set up remotely.
- the advantage of the drive device according to the invention consists essentially in that a sufficient number of switching operations of a switching cycle can be carried out by a single filling of the combustion chamber with a sufficient amount of oxygen for the required number of ignitions and corresponding injection of fuel, without the disadvantages of mechanical - hydraulic accumulators and drives are still available.
- FIG. 1 shows the basic circuit diagram of a chemical drive for high-voltage circuit breakers. The latter is also shown schematically and bears the reference number 10.
- the movable switching pin of the high-voltage circuit breaker 10 is driven by a piston-cylinder arrangement 11, which comprises a cylinder 12 and a piston 13 reciprocating within the cylinder, the piston rod 14 of which Switch pin of the high-voltage circuit breaker 10 is coupled.
- the piston 13 divides the interior of the cylinder 12 into a space 15 above the piston and in a space 16 below the piston, the designation of these two spaces 15 and 16 being chosen purely arbitrarily. Due to the connection of the piston rod 14 to the piston 13, the pressure area on the piston in the space 16 below the piston is smaller than that in the space 15; this is generally a common design and is also necessary.
- a first combustion chamber 17 is assigned to the space 15 and is connected to the space 15 via a check valve 18.
- a spark plug 19 engages in the combustion chamber 17 and is actuated or ignited by means of an ignition circuit 20.
- the combustion chamber 17 is connected to an oxygen tank 22 via a controllable valve 21;
- This injection pump 25 has a piston 26, with which it sucks in liquid fuel 27 from a fuel tank 28 and delivers it to the combustion chamber 17 with one stroke.
- the piston 26 of the injection pump 25 is connected to a piston-cylinder arrangement 29, which is also connected to the oxygen tank 22 via a line 30 and an electromagnetic valve 31 located in this line 30.
- the oxygen tank 22 is connected to a further line 32 and a controllable solenoid valve 33 located therein with a second piston-cylinder arrangement 34 which actuates a piston 35 of a second injection pump 36, the second injection pump 36 draws fuel from the fuel tank 27 via a line 37 and Injects a line 38 corresponding to line 23 and a check valve 39 into a second combustion chamber 40, in which a spark plug 41 controlled by the ignition circuit 20 is also arranged.
- the second combustion chamber 40 is connected to the oxygen tank 22 via a controllable valve 42.
- a line 43 runs from the combustion chamber 40 to the piston-cylinder arrangement 11; the line 43 opens into the space 16 below the piston, with the interposition of a check valve 44.
- the switch 10 is now in the off position. If the switch is to be switched on, the piston must be actuated in the direction of arrow P a . This is done by injecting a sufficient amount of oxygen into the combustion chamber 17 and a sufficient amount of fuel via the injection pump 25. The fuel-air or oxygen mixture is ignited by means of the spark plug 19 and fed to the space 15 to the left of the piston 13 via the check valve 18; due to the resulting pressure within the piston-cylinder arrangement, the piston is driven in the direction of arrow P a , so that the switch 10 is turned on.
- FIG. 2 A simplification of the configuration can be seen in FIG. 2.
- the two combustion chambers 17 and 40 of the arrangement according to FIG. 1 have been combined into a single combustion chamber, with the result that only one fuel injection pump is required. So that the similarity between the arrangements according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is documented, the similar components or parts of the two figures retain the same reference number, if necessary. with indius.
- rooms 15 and 16 are assigned a combustion chamber 17a, which is connected to rooms 15 and 16 via valves 18a and 18b.
- a spark plug 19 is installed in the combustion chamber 17 and is actuated or ignited by means of the ignition circuit 20.
- the combustion chamber 17a is connected to the oxygen tank 22 via a controllable valve 21a and a reducing valve 32a.
- the line 23, which contains the injection nozzle 24 and which is connected to the injection pump 25, also opens into the combustion chamber 17a.
- a buffer tank 33a is located between the oxygen tank and the pump 29. To actuate the switch, a sufficient amount of oxygen for several ignitions is filled into the combustion chamber 17a and a sufficient amount of fuel is injected via the injection pump 25.
- the fuel / air or oxygen mixture is ignited by means of the spark plug 19 and supplied to the space 15 above the piston via the valve 18a.
- the valves 18a and 18b are controlled depending on the piston rod stroke. At the first moment of ignition, valve 18a is open and valve 18b is closed. Due to the resulting pressure within the piston-cylinder arrangement, the piston is driven in the direction of arrow PA. Halfway of the piston, valve 18a closes and valve 18b opens. If the switch is to be operated in the opposite direction, further fuel is injected into the combustion chamber 17a by means of the injection pump 29. With the residual oxygen still in the combustion chamber 17a, a combustible mixture is formed, which is ignited by means of the spark plug 19 actuated by the control device 20 or ignition circuit 20.
- valve 18b Via the valve 18b, which is now open, the reaction gas generated in the combustion chamber 17a, which has a sufficiently high pressure and a sufficient temperature, enters the space 16, what the piston is actuated. Halfway the piston, valve 18b now closes and valve 18a is open. For a second switching operation, the switch-off process already described is repeated, the amount of fuel injected reacting with the remaining oxygen in the combustion chamber 17a. After an off-on-off (O-CO) switching cycle, spaces 16 and 17a are emptied via valve 34.
- O-CO off-on-off
- enough oxygen is introduced into the combustion chamber 17a that the oxygen is sufficient to burn several portions of fuel or to carry out several switching operations.
- a piston-cylinder arrangement 50 according to FIG. 3 is proposed, in which a piston 51 can be moved back and forth, which is connected with a piston rod 52 to the movable switching pin of the high-voltage circuit breaker 10.
- the piston 51 divides the cylinder interior into a space 53 above the piston and a space 54 below the piston; “Above” and “below” are adapted to the relationships in the description of the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 2 and are not intended to say anything about the position of rooms 53 and 54 in relation to “ground” (NN).
- stops 55 and 56 are respectively present in the cylinder 57 in its switched-off position and in its switched-on position.
- the line 61 corresponds to the line from the fuel tank 28 to the injection pump 25.
- a spark plug 64 is installed, the inner end 65 of which is designed to generate the ignition spark, the spark plug 64 having to be inserted pressure-tightly in the cylinder side wall.
- the spark plug 65 is ignited by means of an electronic control 66.
- a further nozzle 67 corresponding to the nozzle 59 opens into the space 54 above the piston 51 and is connected to an injection pump 68 corresponding to the injection pump 60; the injection nozzle 67 is located in the side wall 63 of the cylinder 57.
- a second spark plug 69 is provided, at the inner end 70 of which the ignition spark is generated and which is ignited by means of an ignition circuit 71.
- the two injection pumps 60 are designed such that a single pump surge injects the amount of fuel sufficient for a circuit into the two spaces 53 and 54.
- the spark plugs 64 and 69 are so-called high-energy spark plugs that deliver at least 1 mJ of ignition energy in the spark to ensure adequate ignition in this way.
- a three-hole nozzle 59 and 67 is used as the injection nozzle, which generates three fuel jets 72, 73 and 74, one of which, here the fuel jet 72, directly at the front end 65 of the spark plug, at which the ignition spark is formed is splashed past.
- the outer cone envelope surface must be sprayed as close as possible past the ignition point of the spark plug.
- the fuel must not hit the ignition point itself as this inhibits ignition.
- the nozzle 67 is also designed so that it generates three jets 75, 76 and 77, of which, in the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the middle beam 76 is guided past in the immediate vicinity of the front end of the spark plug, that is to say the ignition point.
- a direct impact of the beam 76 on the front, ignition-generating end 70 of the spark plug 69 would at least hinder the ignition because the spark plug would get wet due to the fuel.
- the amount of fuel, preferably gasoline, which must be injected into the spaces 54 and 53 depends on the switching capacity of the switch 10 and in particular on its movable masses. With a mechanical drive energy of 1 kW / circuit, less than 1 cubic centimeter of gasoline and the equivalent amount of oxygen are required. In view of the fact that as many switch-offs and switch-ons as possible have to be carried out, the amount of oxygen introduced must also be adapted to this. For the O-CO switching sequence customary in the Federal Republic, sufficient oxygen must be filled into space 53 below the piston - the same applies, of course, to the configuration according to FIG. 1 - for at least two switching operations and thus two combustion processes of gasoline. With an injection of 1 cubic centimeter of gasoline into a reaction space of 0.3 liters, an oxygen filling with a pressure of 20 bar would be sufficient for three switch-offs and three switch-ons.
- reaction products can remain in the gasoline-oxygen mixture after ignition without interfering with the subsequent ignition or switching.
- the two valves 31 and 33 must be able to pass oxygen quantities of up to 0.5 liters at a pressure of 20 bar in the millisecond range, so that sufficient force is available to push the piston 26 of the injection pump 25 (or 60 and 68 of Figure 3) to move and injection quantities of 1 cm3 in a time of about 3 msc. to enable.
- the injection pump can also be driven in another way. It is e.g. possible to upstream the drive cylinder 29 a small combustion chamber which is filled with oxygen and into which the necessary small amount of fuel is injected via electromagnetic operated injection valves from the motor vehicle industry and in the mixture of which is ignited by a transistor ignition system with a spark plug in this combustion chamber. The resulting pressure then drives the piston of the injection pump 26.
- inlet lines 78 and 79 are connected in the cylinders 57 in the lower or upper region of the piston position, via which on the one hand the oxygen is supplied and on the other hand the combustion gases formed can be removed after the switching sequence achieved.
- a corresponding line arrangement is not shown here, but is only indicated by a cross line 78 or 79.
- Figure 4 shows schematically the pressure / displacement time diagram.
- Curve b shows the pressure curve during the reaction.
- the pressure rises rapidly to the value p max and slowly decreases in accordance with the increase in volume when the piston moves.
- the piston After reaching a value p s , which is below the maximum value p max , the piston begins to move in accordance with the curve s and reaches the end position S e , which corresponds to the switch-on or switch-off position of the movable switching pin.
Abstract
To drive a linearly movable component, in particular the movable switching pin of an electrical high-voltage circuit breaker, a certain volume of fuel, which is sufficient for this purpose, is introduced into a combustion chamber in order to generate the pressure fluid, into which a volume of oxygen sufficient to burn the fuel before the movement begins was filled. Gasoline is preferably used as fuel. This method is particularly suitable for actuating a high-voltage circuit breaker in which the fuel gases actuate a piston-cylinder arrangement, the piston (13) of which is connected to the movable switching pin (10) via a piston rod (14).
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device according to the preamble of
Elektrische Hochspannungsleistungsschalter dienen Zu- bzw. Electrical high-voltage circuit breakers are used to connect or disconnect a high-voltage network, especially in the event of a short circuit. For this purpose, it is necessary to blow an inert gas, preferably sulfur hexafluoride, against the arc drawn between them after the switching contacts have been separated, in order to deionize the gas ionized by the arc, in particular at zero crossing, and thus to extinguish the arc. So-called blow piston switches have recently been used, in which the movable switching contact piece is connected to a compression cylinder which, when switched off, is pulled over a fixed piston, thereby creating the space between the cylinder and the Piston is reduced in size and thus the gas contained therein is compressed, whereby a sufficient pressure to generate a sufficient quenching gas flow to the arc is generated.
Hydraulic, mechanical or pneumatic drives are used to drive the movable switch contact piece and the associated blow piston or blow cylinder. In the case of hydraulic or pneumatic drives, the piston of a piston-cylinder arrangement is set in motion by means of a hydraulic fluid or by means of compressed air, which piston is connected to the blowing piston or blowing cylinder and to the switching element. In mechanical drives, the energy stored in a spring is used.
The pressure fluid, which can be hydraulic oil or compressed air, is provided by an energy store, which generally has the shape of a cylinder, in which a piston is arranged so that it can be moved back and forth. The pressure fluid is on one side of the piston and a gas or mechanical spring on the other side. Gas springs, in which the compressibility of the gas is used to store the drive energy, have the problem that the gas cannot flow out of the gas spring chamber. Over time, the gas springs in an energy store lose their effect, with the result that the pressure fluid provided by the store no longer has sufficient pressure, or that the required amount of pressure fluid can no longer be drawn off.
High-voltage circuit breakers must be able to switch a certain switching sequence to switch off a short circuit. The drive for such a high-voltage circuit breaker must be designed so that it internationally recognized rules and regulations are sufficient. When dimensioning the known hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical drive systems, in particular the energy storage of the drive is to be designed so that the required amount of pressure fluid for several on / off circuits or one off / on / off circuit of the circuit breaker is released practically immediately can, without charging the energy store by means of generally external electrical energy, since the time period between the individual switching operations must be considerably shorter than the minimum time period required for charging the energy store. The energy store, which provides the pressure fluid, must contain such an amount of pressure fluid that even the last switch-off can be accomplished safely. With the O-CO switching sequence, the memory must accordingly be made smaller and, of course, with the 4 × CO switching sequence, the memory must be built very large. Leakage losses in the gas spring (gas accumulator) and their spring characteristics must be taken into account. The same naturally also applies to a mechanical spring instead of the gas accumulator.
With hydraulic accumulators, a permanent pressure of approx. 300 bar is used, so that special attention must be paid to the sealing of all hydraulic components. In addition, fluid pumps for refilling the reservoir, valves, and other hydraulic components are required, which is why such a hydraulic drive is relatively expensive.
So-called chemical drives offer a certain simplification. It is assumed that all of the problems mentioned above can be avoided if the pressure which is intended to actuate the drive piston and thus the movable contact piece only generates and will be provided when needed. In the case of chemical drives in which the pressure is generated by initiating an explosion-like reaction, the individual reaction components are essentially neutral before ignition and reaction and are initially maintenance-free insofar as special controls, such as the pressure fluid to be kept permanently under pressure, depending on the type of chemical drive are not required.
Solid fuels are mostly used in the form of detonators, which are designed and ignited in accordance with the switch pin stroke and whose reaction gases act on the piston of the switch pin drive. However, oxidic or salt-like residues which form during combustion lead to contamination and corrosion in the drive cylinder, so that such drives often have to be revised and do not appear to be suitable as drives for high-voltage circuit breakers. In addition, the detonators had to be replaced after each switching operation. This has disadvantages, particularly in remote switchgear. Publications which describe such chemical drives in which solids are used are, for example, US Pat. Nos. 4,224,491 and 4,250,365.
It is possible to react the detonators in the form of cartridges directly in the reaction chamber in front of the piston or in a separate combustion chamber. In all cases, however, there is the problem of solid reaction residues.
A chemical drive in which oxyhydrogen gas is used has become known from DE-PS 1 287 677. By means of an electrolysis arrangement, water is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen (oxyhydrogen gas), which gas mixture is fed to the piston-cylinder arrangement. With spark plugs on both sides of the piston, the detonating gas is ignited according to the desired switching stroke. The main disadvantage here is that the reactants are supplied too slowly when the switching cycles are carried out. Although this drive is self-sufficient because there is unlimited water available, it has never been realized due to the problems mentioned.
The object of the invention is to create a method and a device for carrying out the method of the type mentioned at the beginning, with which switching cycles according to specified standards, in particular according to the US standard, with four switch-offs and a 15 second pause in between without great effort can be realized.

The chemical drive according to the invention is simple and reliable.
As a liquid fuel, ethanol is also suitable and the oxidizing agent is pure oxygen.
For the drive energy of a switch of 1 kWs / circuit, 1 cm³ of petrol and the equivalent amount of oxygen are required. With a CO-CO-CO-CO switching cycle, enough oxygen is required that all four switch-offs are reliably ignited. For example, a quantity of 7 liters of oxygen is sufficient for approx. Four switch-offs. The filling pressure of the oxygen is about 25 bar.
The reaction products burned in the first circuit do not interfere with the next circuits and can accordingly remain in the reaction space, especially in the case of the O-CO switching sequence.
If, according to certain regulations, another O-CO switching is to be carried out three minutes after the O-CO switching, then the time in between is sufficient to vent the combustion chamber and fill in new oxygen. With the switching sequence according to the US regulations CO-CO-CO-CO, the 15 seconds between the respective switching cycles would also be sufficient to vent the combustion chamber without any problems and to fill in new oxygen. However, this is not necessary because the amount of oxygen introduced from the start is sufficient for all four cycles.
It is possible, if necessary, to inject fuel both for the pre-reaction for the acceleration phase and for a post-reaction for the compression phase. In this way, the piston is first brought to a certain speed by a first injection, and in order to avoid that the switch-off speed at the end of the switching stroke decreases too quickly during SF₆ compression, a new gasoline charge can be injected after a certain stroke of the drive piston will. This prevents the piston from decelerating prematurely due to the SF₆ back pressure.
A so-called high-energy ignition device is expediently used to ignite the reaction mixture, in which approximately ten times the energy released in a normal transistor ignition device used in motor vehicle construction is converted.
The surface of the combustion chamber is of particular importance. It has to be corrosion-resistant since a certain amount of water is generated. The piston or the piston-cylinder arrangement can expediently consist of stainless steel made of steel with a suitable corrosion-resistant metallic or ceramic protective layer.
The mixture formation in the combustion chamber is of particular importance. It influences the ignition and the course of the reaction in both liquid and gaseous fuels. By means of suitable pressure and flow channels or inflow orifices, eddies can be generated to form a sufficient mixture and the ignition can be optimized accordingly. In the case of liquid fuels, a bundled or a conical jet can be generated by injection using a throttle pin nozzle or a triple jet using a three-hole nozzle. The latter has proven to be the cheapest solution to date. The combustible mixture or the fuel should be brought as close as possible to the spark plug. The fuel is expediently sprayed tangentially past the spark plug. Direct spraying of the fuel on the spark plug could lead to ignition failure because the sparking is hindered. It has proven to be expedient in the case of the so-called three-hole nozzle to pass one of the three jets tangentially past the spark plug, the injection point on the bottom of the combustion chamber and the spark plug being arranged laterally at an angle of 90 ° thereto. The injection time of the fuel is up to three milliseconds: the injection pump used is a pump that pumps out a defined amount of fuel with a pump surge and injects it into the combustion chamber. In any case, choose the injection time so that ignition delays are as small as possible and the requirements regarding the switch's off-time are met.
According to the invention there is also the possibility of introducing inert gases such as nitrogen (N₂) in the interior of the combustion chamber to influence the pressure-time profile. The ignition time and in particular the reaction rate are influenced by the inert gas. Besides, will the pre-pressure level is increased by the inert gas, so that the maximum pressure becomes greater due to the increased amount of gas. In any case, the increased pressure also increases the kinetic energy of the piston. Thus, the piston speed can be increased by admixing the N₂ gas, which has been confirmed in tests. Because of the thermal energy stored in the inert gas, the pressure drop after the reaction is slower, which is why the switching pin movement is favorably influenced. Instead of nitrogen, you can of course also fill in a sufficiently large amount of oxygen; the effect of this excess amount of oxygen is the same as that of inert gas.
The oxygen is provided, for example, by means of an oxygen cylinder or electrochemically, for example by means of water electrolysis or by means of air separation using suitable methods which are not explained in more detail here. The latter would have the advantage that the supply of oxygen would be more independent, which is particularly advantageous when switches are set up remotely.
The advantage of the drive device according to the invention consists essentially in that a sufficient number of switching operations of a switching cycle can be carried out by a single filling of the combustion chamber with a sufficient amount of oxygen for the required number of ignitions and corresponding injection of fuel, without the disadvantages of mechanical - hydraulic accumulators and drives are still available.
The invention and further advantageous refinements and improvements of the invention are to be explained and described in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown.

The latter is also shown schematically and bears the
The
A simplification of the configuration can be seen in FIG. 2. There, the two
In a manner similar to the arrangement according to FIG. 1,
According to the invention, enough oxygen is introduced into the
Die Leitung 61 entspricht der Leitung von dem Brennstoffbehälter 28 zu der Einspritzpumpe 25.For simplification, there is the possibility of integrating the
In the side wall 63 of the cylinder 57, a
The two injection pumps 60 are designed such that a single pump surge injects the amount of fuel sufficient for a circuit into the two
The amount of fuel, preferably gasoline, which must be injected into the
It has been found that the reaction products can remain in the gasoline-oxygen mixture after ignition without interfering with the subsequent ignition or switching.
Der entstehende Druck treibt dann den Kolben der Einspritzpumpe 26 an.It is shown in FIG. 1 that the actuation of the two injection pumps 25 and 36 and then also of the two injection pumps 60 and 68 can take place by means of the oxygen under high pressure. For this purpose, very
79 angedeutet. In the piston-cylinder arrangement according to FIG. 3,
Figure 4 shows schematically the pressure / displacement time diagram. Curve b shows the pressure curve during the reaction. At the beginning of the switching operation, the pressure rises rapidly to the value p max and slowly decreases in accordance with the increase in volume when the piston moves. After reaching a value p s , which is below the maximum value p max , the piston begins to move in accordance with the curve s and reaches the end position S e , which corresponds to the switch-on or switch-off position of the movable switching pin.
The above invention is described using an electrical high-voltage circuit breaker. There is of course the possibility, by means of the invention, of driving or actuating any component which can be moved linearly and which has to be driven.
