Definitions

  • This invention relates to boxes, cartons or like containers made of cardboard, corrugated board or similar lightweight foldable semi-rigid sheet material.
  • Such containers are frequently used to house articles which are to be given as presents, such as Easter eggs or bottles of spirits, and it is then desirable to provide the container with some means of incorporating a message of greetings to the intended recipient. It is of course known to print the outside surface of the container with a suitable area on which a message may be written, but this is not entirely satisfactory.
  • Containers are known, made of cardboard, corrugated board or similar lightweight foldable semi-rigid sheet material, which incorporate a pocket in one of their sides for receiving a card.
  • US Patents 2644632 and 1997717 both disclose a box accordiong to the pre-characterising part of claim 1 where the flat blank, from which the box is made, is cut and adhesively secured at one end, such that a pocket is formed at that end to receive a stock tag.

Claims (7)

1. Schachtel, Karton oder ähnlicher Behälter hergestellt aus Pappe, Wellpappe oder ähnlichem leichtgewichtigen faltbaren halbstarren Plattenmaterial, der eine Tasche (3) zum Aufnehmen einer Grußkarte (4) oder ähnlichem umfaßt, wobei die Tasche (3) an einer Seite einer Platte (1) des Behälters vorgesehen ist und an einer Seite zur Aufnahme der Karte (4) oder ähnlichem offen, aber an deren anderen Seiten und der Unterseite geschlossen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Tasche (3) von einer untergeordneten Platten-und Verschlußklappen-Struktur geformt ist, die mit einer Kante der Platte (1) schwenkbar verbunden, umgefaltet und an der genannten Seite befestigt ist.
2. Behälter nach Anspruch 1, bei dem die Tasche (3) außerhalb des Behälters freiliegt.
3. Behälter nach Anspruch 2, bei dem die Tasche (3) im wesentlichen flach an einer äußeren Oberfläche des Behälters anliegt.
4. Behälter nach Anspruch 3, bei dem die untergeordnete Platten- und Verschlußklappen-Struktur eine rechteckige Rumpfplatte (5) umfaßt, die mit der Kante einer Platte (1) schwenkbar verbunden ist, die eine Seiten- oder Endwand des Behälters formt, wobei die Rumpfplatte (5) angeordnet ist um eine Rückwand der Tasche (3) zu formen, wenn sie in gegenüberliegende Anlage mit der Außenseite der die Platte (1) formenden Wand gefaltet ist, und eine Mehrzahl von Klappen (6), (7) und (8) mit der Rumpfplatte (5) schwenkbar verbunden und angeordnet ist, um eine Vorderwand der Tasche (3) zu bilden, wenn sie in gegenüberliegende Anlage mit der Rumpfplatte (5) gefaltet ist.
5. Behälter nach Anspruch 4, bei dem die Rumpfplatte (5) mit einer oberen horizontalen Kante einer Seitenwand-formenden Platte (1) des Behälters schwenkbar verbunden ist.
6. Behälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei dem die Rumpfplatte (5) mit einer seitlichen vertikalen Kante einer Seitenwand-formenden Platte (1) des Behalters schwenkbar verbunden ist.
7. Rohling zur Herstellung eines Behälters nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6.
