Abstract

The receiver combines a feed, a polarizer and a decoupler of the orthogonal modes in a single wave-guide structure (1) with the internal cross section increasing toward the ends. The minimum and maximum dimensions of the cross sections are selected in such a manner as to describe a middle cutoff frequency of the guided structure (1) greater than the local oscillation frequency and the image band frequencies and smaller than the signal radio frequencies. Two RF-IF converters (2,3) are associated with said structure (1).
