Abstract

A parking post 115 comprising a container 110 having an opening therein and a post 115 projecting said opening and moveable between a first position when substantially the whole of the post 115 resides within the container 110 and a second position when a portion of the post 115 projects up­ wardly from the opening in the container 110, the container 110 being located in use below the ground such that the op­ ening is approximately level with the surface of the ground.
