Description

The present invention relates to a two-part and two-shell heat protection suit made of asbestos-free material, the inner shell of which can both be buttoned into the outer shell and worn independently.

Heat protection clothing, which can be used for civil as well as for military purposes in emergencies, for human rescue, for fire fighting in and around the fire, is available in a wide variety of designs and designs, mostly earmarked, developed and made known. In many cases, specific pieces of equipment such as protective covers for the head and upper body part, shoes, gloves, gaiters, respiratory protection devices, etc. have been used. Particularly heat-resistant materials, which can also be used in multiple layers, have been made available for complete heat protection suits that are designed in one or two parts. Fire brigades, civil defense, police, federal border guards and the German armed forces need protective clothing against radiant heat, briefly leaking flames and flames for rescuing people, for fighting fires and for technical assistance. The protective clothing must be able to be combined with different head protection devices and respiratory protective devices. While asbestos materials were previously used extensively in the heat protection area, today asbestos-free substances are preferred for health reasons, the surfaces of which have a metallized layer.

From FR-A-2 439 593 it is known that zipper halves of an inner jacket fastener can be provided, which can be used in combination with the corresponding counter halves on the outer jacket to connect the two shells.

From US-A-1 490 470 it is known that snap fasteners are used to button an inner suit.

From the area of civil protection (Federal Office for Civil Protection, THW5, TB 8415-009, edition 2) the technical description for a heavy heat protection suit is known, which consists of an aluminized outer skin and a two-part button lining (insulating insert and inner lining).

Apart from the fact that the outer skin is designed as a one-piece combination, the two-piece inner lining can be unbuttoned and cleaned, but is in no case designed and usable as an independently wearable suit.

A delivery brochure from Excalor R about "Flame and heat protection clothing" shows two-part heat protection suits in the models B4 and B20 / GGA. However, these are only shown and described in single-shell form. Model B 3-S shows a one-piece heat protection combination that has a replaceable outer skin. The outer skin is attached to the combination so that it can be snapped off. Without the unbuttoned outer skin, the suit is neither washable nor independently wearable as a heat protection suit.

The two previously known suits can only be worn in conjunction with a breathing apparatus. Overall, the suits are made so heavy that their wearing time is very limited for reasons of clothing physiology.

The invention has for its object to provide a heat protection suit of the type described in the preamble of the main claim, which should meet the following requirements:
  • excellent heat protection quality as a two-shell heat protection suit
  • sufficient heat protection quality as a light, independently worn inner suit
  • pleasant wearing comfort with a longer wearing time, even at elevated temperatures
  • quick suit on and off
  • separate washability of the inner suit
  • Possibility of combining the outer suit with other suitable undersuits.

This object is achieved in that the outer shell as an outer suit made of one material with a metallized surface and the inner shell as an inner suit made of a multi-layer heat-insulating and heat-protecting material that the connection of both suits is designed such that inner and outer suits are interchangeable and that the zipper halves of the inner jacket fastener are designed so that they are in Combination with the corresponding counter halves on the outer jacket can be used to connect both shells.

The heat protection suit according to the invention, consisting of a metallized outer suit and a heat-insulating detachable inner suit, is primarily intended for fire protection, but is also suitable for other purposes.

Wearing a respirator is possible, but not mandatory. Any heat protection helmet that meets the respective requirements can be worn with the suit as head protection. For fire protection personnel, who must wear a full heat protection suit due to acute or latent fire risk during on-call duty, clothing physiological aspects are just as important as adequate heat protection qualities of the protection suit. Hygiene is taken into account with regard to the washability of the suit.

The outer and inner suits are tailored to one another so that outer and inner suits of the same size can be combined with one another. The general ready-made design of the suit gives the wearer a comfortable fit.

Long zips ensure good ventilation for regulating the body climate on call. The zippers are arranged and designed in such a way that the suitability for use of the suit can be established in the shortest possible time.

The inner suit, as an independently worn heat protection suit, offers protection against flash flames and low heat radiation and can be dyed in any color (e.g. olive-colored for soldiers).

(Z. B. Außenanzug mit Feuerwehrdienstbekleidung.)The metallized coverall can be worn over any suitable - insulating - underwear, so that a full heat protection suit is created. (E.g. outside suit with fire service clothing.)

The two-part and two-shell heat protection suit according to the present invention is characterized by the following functional and arrangement features:
  • that the front closure 2 of the inner jacket is used for tearing into the outer jacket,
  • that the inner pants are held in the outer pants by a hanging device 12/13/14,
  • that the zippers of the outer and inner suit 15/21/24 are arranged one above the other,
  • that all zippers 2/5/15/20/21/24 are covered with piping,
  • that the inner pants are provided with belt and hanging loops 22/14,

  • b) as a light heat protection suit due to the independently wearable inner suit,
  • c) in combination of the outer suit with the inner suit as physiologically comfortable and heat protection suit that can be worn over a long period of time.

The purpose of the metallized outer suit is to reflect strong heat radiation, while the heat-insulating inner suit is intended to protect the wearer from the effects of contact heat.

The inner suit is connected with push buttons 1, zippers 2 and the buttoning in the waistband 12, 13, 14 such that the outside of the inner suit is facing the body and all zippers of the inner suit are open. The front zipper of the inner jacket 2 is connected to the corresponding counter halves 2, which are covered by flaps 3, with the outer jacket.

The inner suit consists of a three-layer, quilted fabric composite. The outer, inner layer and the insulation are matched in their textile material so that the suit is washable up to 40 ° C. The heat protection suit according to the invention has good wearing comfort due to a generous cut, a elaborate seat and knee shape for the pants and a blouson shape with spherical sleeves for the jackets.

The long zippers 5, 15, 21, 24 covered with piping not only enable the suit to be put on and taken off quickly and easily, but also serve to improve the body climate through good ventilation during standby time. Their sliders are provided with loops in the handles for easy and safe handling. The metallized heat protection material of the outer suit and the three-layer composite of the inner suit protect against the effects of heat radiation from the outer suit and against contact heat (e.g. flames) in combination with the heat-insulating inner suit and against light heat radiation and contact heat (e.g. flames) by the wearer Inside suit. The arrangement of the buttoning device of the inner suit in the outer suit is designed such that outer and inner suits of the same clothing size are interchangeable. The front zipper of the inner suit jacket is used in conjunction with the corresponding zipper halves in the outer jacket to tear the inner jacket in the outer jacket.
