Abstract

Shaft wall assemblies (100) comprise fire-resistant framework (101, 103) and gypsum board (110) which is faced with fibrous mat supported by the framework. The gypsum board (110) has a core containing mineral fibres in an amount sufficient to improve the fire-resistant properties of the board.
