Abstract

An ultrasonic horn having a bore extending there­ through has an inwardly directed shoulder located substan­ tially at a vibratory antinode of the horn. The shoulder narrows the diameter of the bore and imparts an agitating action to liquid in the vicinity thereof to scrub the bore.
