In still greater particularity, the invention relates to a carrier and blank therefor which includes side partition portions connected to a center partition and glued to straps extending from the center partition to the sidewalls of the carrier.
  • Basket-type carriers are commonly provided with cells for holding beverage containers or other articles, and with a handle for ease of lifting and carrying. Examples of such carriers are found in United States Patent Nos. 3,084,831 and 4,402,400. Both patents disclose carriers adapted to carry six bottles and include straps connecting the handle and the side panels for separating the bottles on each side of the handle.
  • the carrier of U.S. Patent No. 3,084,831 further includes side partitions depending from the straps to separate the bottles below the straps.
