Description

The invention relates to a coupling contact piece for a plug connection between two cylindrical conductors of an encapsulated, pressurized gas-insulated high-voltage switchgear, in which a cylindrical sleeve with elongated contact blades covers two spherical contact parts connected to the conductor ends, which are fastened in a recess in the conductor by means of a cylindrical projection.

Such a dome contact piece is known from DE-AS 27 13 121. It is customary for these dome contact pieces, provided the cylindrical conductor and the spherical contact parts are made of copper, to solder the outer surface of the cylindrical extension of the dome contact part to the surface of the recess in the conductor. Soldering is expensive and its quality is difficult to check.

In addition, such a soldering is not possible if the cylindrical conductor consists of aluminum tube. In this case, it is customary to produce the galvanic contact between the spherical contact part and the conductor end by means of a surface pressure generated with screws on the end face of the cylindrical aluminum tube, which was previously spray-copper-plated. This is relatively expensive.

The invention has for its object to achieve a perfect galvanic contact between the approach of the spherical contact parts and the conductor end with simpler means.

To achieve this object, the cylindrical projection of each spherical contact part is fitted with a press fit into the tubular end of the conductor in a dome contact piece of the type described above according to the invention. This arrangement has the advantage that the outer surface of the cylindrical projection of the spherical contact parts can be used as a seat for the press fit which can be produced simply and cheaply. The press fit thus results in good galvanic contact between the conductor and the spherical contact parts along the entire circumference. The quality of the press fit and thus the contact is easy to check.

This advantage is particularly important if the conductor is made of aluminum and soldering would not be possible.

It is advantageous to provide the seat of the press fit on the cylindrical extension with knurling. It is thereby achieved that during the pressing-in process, oxide layers on both the inner surface of the tubular aluminum conductor and on the outer lateral surface of the attachment of the contact parts are eliminated, so that the galvanic connection is improved.

Furthermore, it is advisable to provide a locking toothing between the seat surface and the end face of the conductor, by means of which the press-in contact can be fixed.

Furthermore, with a small wall thickness of the tubular end of the conductor, it may be expedient to apply a support ring made of impermeable material of higher mechanical strength in the area of the inner seat surface to the conductor, which can be done by pressing or shrinking. A correspondingly higher seat strength can thereby be achieved.

The assembly of the dome contact piece can be simplified according to the further invention in that the press fit is not produced by appropriate dimensioning of the seat surfaces, but is generated with the aid of a spreading device provided on the cylindrical projection. This facilitates the insertion of the contact part into the tubular end of the conductor provided for the press fit. For this purpose, it is recommended that the cylindrical projection and the spherical contact part have a central bore, starting from a recess of larger diameter, which is penetrated by an expansion screw, the head of which lies in the recess and a cone is screwed onto the end of which. To produce the press fit, the cone is then drawn into the central bore of the contact part and expands the cylindrical projection, so that when the screwing process is completed, the contact part is pressed inside the tubular end of the conductor. The completion of the pressing process is indicated by the freedom of movement of the thread.

The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing. FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a dome contact piece designed according to the invention. In Figure 2, a somewhat modified spherical contact part is also shown in longitudinal section.

The dome contact piece 1 for the connection of two cylindrical conductors 2 made of aluminum of a compressed gas-insulated, metal-encapsulated high-voltage switchgear consists of two spherical contact parts 3, which are connected to the ends of the conductors 2, and a cylindrical sleeve 4, which covers the spherical contact parts 3, with elongated contact lamellae 5.

The front outer edges 6 as well as the edges 7 next to a constriction 8 for receiving a fuse spring 9 are very rounded, so that the cylindrical sleeve 4 simultaneously acts as a shield controlling the electrical field in the course of the conductor connection. The inside diameter of the cylindrical sleeve 4 is smaller in the region of the constriction 8 than the inside diameter indicated by an arrow 10 for receiving the current contact plates 5, so that a shoulder 11 is formed between the two, against which the contact plates 5 rest on one side.

Each contact lamella 5 is trapezoidal. The pointed side 12 of the contact plate 5 forms the contact surface with the spherical contact parts 3 attached to the ends of the conductors 2 to be connected. The blunt side of the contact plates 5 facing the cylindrical sleeve 4 contains a central groove 13, in each of which a leaf spring 14 is arranged , which supports the contact plate 5 with respect to the cylindrical sleeve 4 and thus causes the contact pressure of the contact plate 5. The leaf springs 14 are laterally secured by a disc 15 in the axial direction, which is fixed at some points in the cylindrical sleeve 4 by caulking.

The ends of the conductors 2 made of aluminum are tubular. In the middle recess 16 of the conductor 2, a cylindrical extension 17 of the spherical contact part 3 is inserted, the outer diameter of which corresponds approximately to the inner diameter of the recess 16. The spherical contact part 3 and the cylindrical extension 17 are formed in one piece and consist of a copper alloy. A central recess 19 extends from the end face 18 of the spherical contact part 3, into the bottom 20 of which a central bore 21 of smaller diameter opens, which leads to the other end face 22.

The central bore 21 is penetrated by an expansion screw 24, the head 25 of which rests on the bottom 20 of the recess 19 and is thus inside the spherical contact part 3. A cone 26 is screwed on from the end of the expansion screw 24. The expansion screw 24 with the cone 26 is already in the spherical connector 3 before it is inserted with its cylindrical extension 17 into the recess 16 of the conductor 2. To axially fix the spherical contact part 3, the shoulder 17 is provided adjacent to the spherical contact part 3 with a shoulder 27 with a larger diameter than the outer lateral surface and thus the seat surface 28 of the cylindrical shoulder 17. This shoulder 27 bears against the end face 29 of the conductor 2 and acts as a stop which determines the axial position of the spherical contact part 3.

By turning the expansion screw 24, the cone 26 is now drawn into the central bore 21 and thus spreads the cylindrical extension 17 over the surface 23 adjacent to the end face 22, so that a press fit is produced on the seat surface 28. This results in good galvanic contact between the spherical contact part 3 and the end of the conductor 2 made of aluminum. In this way it is ensured that the current supply from the end of one conductor 2 via the shoulder 17 and the spherical contact part 3, and the current lamella 5 to the other spherical contact part 3, its shoulder 17 and the end of the other conductor 2 without being unnecessarily large Resistance at the individual points of contact expires.

Für Teile, die mit denen in Figur 1 übereinstimmen, sind die gleichen Bezugszeichen beibehalten.FIG. 2 shows another configuration of the press fit between the spherical contact part 3 and the tubular end of the conductor 2 made of aluminum. The same reference numerals are used for parts that correspond to those in FIG. 1.

Here, too, the spherical contact part 3 is provided with a cylindrical projection 17 which extends into the recess 16 of the end of the conductor 2 protrudes. The cylindrical extension 17 is intended to cause a press fit in the area of the seat surface 28. The inner diameter of the conductor 2 and the outer diameter of the extension 17 are dimensioned in accordance with the seat tolerances required for this. In addition, the shoulder 17 is provided with knurling in the area of the seat surface 28. This ensures that when the cylindrical projection 17 is pressed into the recess 16 of the aluminum conductor 2, the oxide layers are rubbed off both on the inner surface of the tubular aluminum conductor 2 and on the seat surface 28 of the projection 17, so that a very good galvanic connection between both parts are created. To facilitate the insertion of the cylindrical extension 17 into the recess 16, the extension 17 is provided on its end face 22 with a guide part 30, the outside diameter of which is smaller than the outside diameter of the seat surface 28. In addition, both the shoulder 27, which comes to rest on the end face 29 of the conductor 2, and a locking toothing 31, which lies between the shoulder 27 and the seat surface 28, are provided for axial fixing.

Furthermore, on the tubular end of the aluminum conductor 2 is a support ring 32 made of non-permeable material of higher mechanical strength, such as. B. stainless steel, shrunk, which is arranged in the region of the inner seat 28. This allows a higher seating strength to be achieved even with a small wall thickness of the tubular end of the aluminum conductor 2.
