Abstract

1. A device for mixing media of identical or different aggregate state, at least one of the media being a fluid, consisting of a vertically-arranged cylindrical container (1), in the lower or upper part (5 or 2 respectively) of which, outlet apertures of supply pipes (7, 9) of the media that are to be mixed together are provided, and, in the upper or lower part (5 or 2 respectively) of which, inlet apertures of discharge pipes (4, 14) are provided, by way of which reaction products of the mixed media and residual fluids can be extracted, characterised in that an outlet aperture of a supply pipe (7) of a first medium is formed by a pipe endpiece (6) which is arranged concentrically in the lower or upper part (2, 5) of the container (1) and which is provided with turbulence devices (10) and has a rounded portion (11) which enlarges its diameter towards the outlet cross-section and by which the diameter of the outlet cross-section is enlarged considerably relative to the diameter of the remaining pipe endpiece (6), and in that in the region of the thus formed turbulence zone there opens at least one outlet aperture of a supply pipe (9) of a second medium.
