Zusätzlich umgibt ein Rahmen (6) lose den Leuchtschirm. Aus der DE-AS 11 1 87 742 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Überzugs aus einem Kunststoffblatt auf der Stimfläche einer Kathodenstrahlröhre bekannt. Die Kathodenstrahlröhre weist einen Konus mit Kolbenhals als Rückseite und eine gewölbte Schirmwanne auf der Vorderseite auf. Auf die Außenseite der gewölbten Schirmwanne wird als lmplosionsschutz das Kunststoffblatt aufgebracht. Nach dem Anbringen des Kunststoffblatte-s wird noch ein Spannband um den Umfang der Röhre herumgelegt und mit einer Zugspannung von etwa 450 kg versehen. Diese Art eines lmplosionsschutzes ist nur bei Bildwiedergabevorrichtungen mit einer gewölbten Schirmwanne mit Seitenteilen möglich. Dabei wird die lmplosionssicherheit dadurch erreicht, daß das vorgespannte Glassystem der Bildwiedergabevorrichtung durch mechanischen Druck aufgrund des Spannbandes in einen spannungslosen Zustand gebracht wird.DE-AS 11 1 87 742 discloses a method for producing a coating from a plastic sheet on the end face of a cathode ray tube. Die Sicherheitsfolie kann beispielsweise aus Polyester - (Polyethylenterephtalat) bestehen und 25 bis 60 um dick sein. Eine derartige Sicherheitsfolie ist unter dem Namen "Sicherheitsfolie Tesa 4592" erhältlich. Um den Leuchtschirm 4 ist lose ein Rahmen 6 gelegt, dessen oberer Rand in Richtung der Außenfläche 10 des Leuchtschirmes 4 umgebogen ist und der etwas auf die Außenfläche 10 des Leuchtschirmes ragt.The fluorescent screen 4 carries a
Der Zwischenraum zwischen dem Rahmen 6 und den Seitenflächen 9 des Leuchtschirmes bzw. der Sicherheitsfolie 5 ist mit einer zähelastischen Vergußmasse 7 ausgefüllt. Die Vergußmasse 7 kann beispielsweise aus Polyurethan bestehen. Da die Sicherheitsfolie 5 meist nicht kratzfest und lösungsmittelbeständig ist, ist sie von einer dünnen Glasscheibe 8 abgedeckt.
