It enters the bent tubes allowing the expansion 16, then passes into the right part of the tube bundle 17, along which it cools to its temperature of saturation. It arrives in the collection chamber 18, from where it is distributed, as indicated by the arrow 19, in a bundle of U-shaped tubes 20. Arrived at the opposite end of the exchanger, the steam returns, as indicated by arrows 25, 26, 27, towards the part lower 28 of the U-shaped tubes. The steam under pressure gradually condenses as it passes through the bundle of U-shaped tubes. The condensed water is collected in the collecting chamber 29, separated from the chamber 18 by the partition 30, then is evacuated through conduit 31.
