Description

The invention relates to a roller shutter according to the preamble of claim 1. In this case, roller shutters for skylights, the direction of which is at an acute angle or inclined to the horizontal, are particularly intended. So far, the roller shutter slat has only been slidably guided on the piping with its corresponding surfaces. The friction that occurs is relatively high and can lead to the fact that roller shutter slats with roller blind slats can no longer get out of the rolled-up position into the rolled-out position in which they cover the window due to their own weight. Attempts have been made (OE-GM 83 34 079) to remedy this by providing ball bearings on the ends of the roller shutter rod. This has several disadvantages. Ball bearings tend to get dirty and then become unusable. An outdoor roller shutter is a large one, especially when it is in an inclined position Risk of pollution exposed. Repairs or cleaning of such roller shutters are difficult and time-consuming. As soon as the roller shutter rod is tilted slightly to the side guides or side guide rails, this results in such pressure on the ball bearings, because the ball bearings are outside the piping, due to the leverage that occurs, that they are no longer functional.

The present invention is therefore not based on a roller shutter according to GBM 83 34 079, but rather on a roller shutter according to the preamble of claim 1. The object of the invention is seen in improving a roller shutter according to the preamble of claim 1 in its management properties, so that even when the roller shutter is in an inclined position approaching the horizontal, it comes into the closed position of the window due to its own weight.

The solution to this problem results from the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 in conjunction with the features of the associated preamble. This means that when the roller shutter is lowered (and also pulled up again), there is practically no friction in the side guides or guide rails between the latter and the roller shutter rod, so that even with a roller shutter with only a slight inclination to the horizontal, it comes into the lowered position due to its own weight . The intended roles are insensitive to contamination. In contrast to ball bearings, they can e.g. B. in its preferred embodiment as cylindrical rollers, a so have a small diameter that this corresponds approximately to the dimension that is required between the two piping of a lateral guide for rattling-free sliding along the roller shutter slats. Ball bearings, on the other hand, would have such a thickness that their (assumed) sliding between the piping would have to be so large that rattling-free guiding of roller shutter slats of normal thickness would no longer be possible. The disadvantages resulting from DE-GM 83 34 079 resulting from tilting of the roller shutter rod are avoided with the invention, since the rollers are located between the piping and therefore at the point around which any tilting would take place.

The features of claim 2 represent a preferred embodiment of the invention, which ensures a particularly smooth and quiet running of the roller shutter rod between the side guides.

The features of claim 3 result in a flawless guidance of the rollers, the rattle-free guidance of the roller shutter slats (see above).

  • Fig. 1: schematisch in der Frontansicht einen Rolladen nach der Erfindung und zwar in einem kleineren Maßstab als die übrigen Figuren;
  • Fig. 3: einen Schnitt gemäß der Linie III-III in Fig. 2,
  • Fig. 4: einen Schnitt gemäß der Linie IV-IV in Fig. 1.
Further advantages and features of the invention can be found in the further subclaims, as well as in the following description and the associated drawing of possible embodiments of the invention. in the drawing shows:
  • Fig. 1: schematically in the front view of a roller shutter according to the invention, namely on a smaller scale than the other figures;
  • 2: a part of the roller shutter bar with guide and rollers in the front view,
  • 3 shows a section along the line III-III in Fig. 2,
  • 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV in Fig. 1st

According to the schematic representation in FIG. 1, the roller shutter has two lateral guides 1, which according to FIGS. 3, 4 can be approximately U-shaped in cross section. The roller shutter slats 2 slide along these guides, a roller shutter slat 3, which represents a weight, and a leg 4, which runs approximately perpendicular to the sliding plane of the roller shutter, being attached to the lowest roller shutter slat 2 ′, and which is in the lowered roller shutter position shown in FIG. 1 a lower cross rail 5 rests. This cross rail connects the lateral guides 1 to one another.

The leadership of the roller shutter rod in the guides 1 is shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. It consists of at least one roll 6, but preferably two rolls per side. The guides are therefore (see Fig. 1) provided on both sides of the roller shutter bar. The rollers 6 run each between piping 7, which are embedded in the lateral guide rails 1, preferably close to their inner edges 8. The rollers 6 are located essentially without play between the two piping 7. They are rotatably mounted about axle pins 9, which in recesses 10 one End portion 11 are attached, which is inserted with an extension 12 into a recess 13 of a central portion 3 'of the roller shutter rod 3 and held therein. This mounting is preferably carried out by means of an adhesive or press fit. When the roller shutter is moved up and down, the rollers 6 rotate about their axes 9 and thus roll off the piping 7.

The thickness d of the rollers corresponds approximately to the thickness dimension e that the roller shutter slats 2 assume when sliding between the piping 7 (see FIG. 4). You are thus rattled between the piping 7. The piping 7 are preferably made of a hard plastic, e.g. B. polyamide. They are held in dovetail cutouts 14 in the guides 1.

The end edges 15 of the roller shutter rod 3 or its end portions 11 have a distance a from the inner edges 16 of the bottoms of the guide rails 1, which is dimensioned and matched to the length 1 of the rollers 6, that on the one hand the roller shutter rod in the direction of the double arrow 17 can move a certain amount back and forth, but on the other hand the roll 6 always abut the piping 7.
