Abstract
Die Randversteifung für den Öffnungsbereich von Kunststoffbeuteln und dergleichen besteht aus einem stabilen, jedoch leicht verformbaren Kunststoffband, das der Länge nach, vorzugsweise in der Mitte, eine Knicklinie hat. Beide durch die Knicklinie abgegrenzten Kunststoffbandteile tragen auf der Innenseite eine Selbstklebeschicht. Die Randversteifung für Kunststoffbeutel und dergleichen ist von Hand plastisch verformbar und gibt einem Kunststoffbeutel oder dergleichen einen stabilen Rand mit beliebiger Form. Zur Verbesserung der Formstabilität kann mindestens ein Kunststoffbandteil eine Bewehrung aus z.B. Bei derartigen, beispielsweise aus der US - PS 43 79 519 bekannten Randversteifungen ist ein flexibles Kunststoffband U-förmig gefaltet, über die Kante im Öffnungsbereich des Beutels gelegt und dort mit Klammern gehalten. Das Falten des Kunststoffbandes ist hier verhältnismäßig umständlich. Die Befestigung des Bandes mittels Klammern kostspielig. Ferner kann dem Beutel nach Anbringen der Versteifung keine beliebige Form im Öffnungsbereich gegeben werden. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, eine Randversteifung der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, die leicht U-förmig faltbar und einfach befestigbar ist und mit der der Beutelöffnung eine beliebige Form gegeben werden kann.In such edge reinforcements, for example known from US Pat. Die in Fig. 1 dargestellte Randversteifung für Kunststoffbeutel und dergleichen ist aus einem stabilen, jedoch leicht verformbaren Kunststoffband (1) hergestellt. Längs der Mitte verläuft auf der Außenseite des Kunststoffbandes (1) eine geprägte Knicklinie (2), die ein problemloses Zusammenfalten des Kunststoffbandes (1) nach innen ermöglicht. In das eine, durch die Knicklinie abgegrenzte Kunststoffbandteil (la) eingebettet verläuft in Längsrichtung, an die Knicklinie (2) heranreichend, eine biegsame Bewehrung (3) von auf die Biegesteifigkeit des Kunststoffbandes (1) abgestimmter Stärke in Form eines Metallstreifens, der mit dem Kunststoffbandteil (la) fest verbunden ist. Diese Bewehrung (3) kann aber auch wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt aus Metalldraht, oder wie in Fig. 3 dargestellt aus Metallgewebe, oder einem anderen dem Kunststoffband (1) größere Formstabilität gebenden Material bestehen. Die Bewehrung kann, außer durch Einbetten in das Kunststoffbandteil (la), auch wie in Fig. 4 dargestellt durch Aufkleben oder Kaschieren auf der Innenseite des Kunststoffbandteiles (la) angebracht sein. Beide Kunststoffbandteile (la und lb) sind auf der Innenseite auf gesamter Fläche mit einer Selbstklebeschicht (4 und 5) ausgestattet, die durch abziehbare Schutzstreifen (6 und 7) abgedeckt ist.The edge stiffening shown in Fig. 1 for plastic bags and the like is made of a stable, but easily deformable plastic tape (1).
