Claims (7)
- Mehrstrahlantenne mit einem einzigen Reflektor- oder Linsenelement (30, 40, 50) zum Erzeugen einer Vielzahl von Sekundärstrahlen aus einer gleichen Vielzahl von Primärstrahlen, die auf das Reflektor- oder Linsenelement (30, 40, 50) auftreffen, und mit einer Vielzahl von Antennen-Speisehörnern, die in einer Reihe angeordnet sind, um die Vielzahl von Primärstrahlen zu erzeugen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet daß das Reflektor- oder Linsenelement (30, 40, 50) und die Antennen-Speisehörner so ausgelegt sind, daß sie die Sekundärstrahlen als divergierende Strahlen erzeugen, wobei der Divergenzgrad und die Öffnungsgröße der Speisehörner so gewählt sind, daß die Verstärkung des Antennensystems größtmöglich ist und daß die Sekundärstrahlen mit einer gewünschten Strahlbreite bei einem bestimmten Leistungsniveau erzeugt werden;
und daß der Durchmesser sowie die Brennweite des Reflektor- oder Linsenelementes (30, 40, 50) so bemessen sind, daß eine Überlappung der Sekundärstrahlen stattfindet, die eine durchgehende Abdeckung einer Fläche durch die Sekundärstrahlen mit einem bestimmten Leistungspegel bewirkt, wobei der Divergenzgrad und die Öffnungsgröße der Speisehörner so gehalten sind, daß die größtmögliche Verstärkung des Antennensystem und die Strahlbreite der Sekundärstrahlen erhalten bleibt. - Mehrstrahlantenne nach Anspruch 1, wobei
das Öffnungselement ein Parabol-Reflektor (50) ist;
der Divergenzgrad durch axiale Verschiebung der Antennen-Speisehörner in bezug auf den Brennpunkt des Parabol-Reflektors ausgewählt ist, und
der Divergenzgrad beibehalten wird während der Durchmesser des Öffnungselementes eingestellt wird durch eine proportionale Justierung der Brennweite des Parabol-Reflektors während der Durchmesser des Parabol-Reflektors eingestellt wird. - Mehrstrahlantenne gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei
das Reflektor- oder Linsenelement ein Hyperboloid-Reflektor (30) ist,
der Divergenzgrad durch Einstellung des Vergößerungsfaktors des Hyperboloid-Reflektors eingestellt wird, und
der Divergenzgrad aufrecht erhalten bleibt während einer Justierung des Durchmessers des Öffnungselementes durch eine Proportional-Einstellung der Brennweite des Hyperboloid-Reflektors bei der Einstellung des Durchmessers des Hyperboloid-Reflektors. - Mehrstrahlantenne gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das Reflektor- oder Linsenelement eine divergierende Linse (40) ist.
- Verfahren zum Einstellen eines Mehrstrahl-Antennensystems, um ohne nennenswerten Verlust an Verstärkung oder Wirkungsgrad eine gewünschte Strahl-Charakteristik zu erreichen, mit folgenden Schritten:
Auswählen einer Vielzahl von Antennen-Speisehörnern, die Primärstrahlen hervorrufen und in einer Reihe angeordnet sind, sowie Auswählen eines einzigen Antennen-Reflektors, wobei der Antennen-Reflektor und die Antennen-Speisehörner so angeordnet sind, daß sie divergierende Sekundärstrahlen erzeugen;
Auswählen des Divergenzgrades und der Öffnungsgröße der Speisehörner, um die Verstärkung des Antennensystems zu maximieren und um Sekundärstrahlen zu erzeugen, die von dem Reflektor mit einer gewünschten Winkel-Strahlbreite bei einem bestimmten Leistungspegel divergieren; und
Einstellen des Durchmessers und der Brennweite des Reflektors, um eine Sekundärstrahl-Überlappung zu erreichen und eine durchgehende Abdeckung einer Fläche durch die Sekundärstrahlen bei einem gegebenen Leistungspegel zu erreichen, wobei der Divergenzgrad und die Öffnungsgröße der Speisehörner beibehalten bleibt, um den maximierten Verstärkungsgrad des Antennensystems und die Strahlbreite der Sekundärstrahlen zu behalten. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, wobei
der Antennen-Reflektor ein Hyperboloid-Reflektor (30) ist;
der Divergenzgrad ausgewählt ist durch Einstellung des Vergrößerungsfaktors des Hyperboloid-Reflektors; und
der Divergenzgrad beibehalten wird auch bei einer Einstellung des Durchmessers des Antennenreflektors durch Proportionaljustierung der Brennweite des Hyperboloid-Reflektors wenn der Durchmesser des Hyperboloid-Reflektors eingestellt wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, wobei
der Antennen-Reflektor ein Paraboloid-Reflektor (50) ist;
der Divergenzgrad ausgewählt ist durch axiale Verschiebung der Antennen-Speisehörner in bezug auf den Brennpunkt des Paraboloid-Reflektors; und
der Divergenzgrad beibehalten bleibt bei einer Einstellung des Durchmessers des Antennen-Reflektors durch Proportionaljustierung der Brennweite des Paraboloid-Reflektors wenn der Durchmesser des Paraboloid-Reflektors justiert wird.
