Abstract

1. Handle fitting, in particular for driving rod locks on windows or the like, having a screw mounting plate (3) which supports the handle grip (9) and the screw holes (4) of which are covered by a cover plate (15) which is fixed in a clipped manner in the area of a collar (7) near the bearing bush (6) of the handle grip (9), characterized in that the cover plate (15), with a clearance portion (18) open to one side, is pushed in beneath the collar (7) and is retained with lugs (20) on the collar underside (7') which are engaged in holes (19) of the cover plate and, at its opposite side, is folded to form an angle section, with the narrow edges (17') of the angled leg (17) gripping behind the shoulders (14) at the side flanks (13) of the screw mounting plate (3).
