Abstract
Es wird ein hochlegierter Eisen-Kohlenstoff- Gußwerkstoff mit einem austenitischem Grundgefüge, dessen Kohlenstoff Überwiegend aus Graphit vorliegt, vor geschlagen, bei dem der Graphit zum überwiegenden Teil als vermiculare Graphitausscheidung ausgebildet ist und der bevorzugt einen Restmagnesiumgehalt von 0,01 bis 0,04 Gew.-% aufweist. Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des erfin dungsgemäßen Werkstoffes zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der Basiseisen-schmelze ein Behandlungszusatz aus Rein magnesium zugegeben wird, wobei sogar schwefelreiche Basiseisenschmelzen verarbeitet werden können.
