Abstract

Es wird ein hochlegierter Eisen-Kohlenstoff-­ Gußwerkstoff mit einem austenitischem Grundgefüge, dessen Kohlenstoff Überwiegend aus Graphit vorliegt, vor­ geschlagen, bei dem der Graphit zum überwiegenden Teil als vermiculare Graphitausscheidung ausgebildet ist und der bevorzugt einen Restmagnesiumgehalt von 0,01 bis 0,04 Gew.-% aufweist. Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des erfin­ dungsgemäßen Werkstoffes zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der Basiseisen-schmelze ein Behandlungszusatz aus Rein­ magnesium zugegeben wird, wobei sogar schwefelreiche Basiseisenschmelzen verarbeitet werden können.
