Description

The invention relates to a slipper or house slipper with an insole and an outsole with a device for keeping the feet warm.

Known and commonly used slippers or slippers have the disadvantage that they cannot prevent cold feet, for example when worn on stone floors or in unfavorable indoor climatic conditions, if the wearer of the slippers or slippers does not move.

The object of the invention is to design a generic slipper or house slipper so that the user of the slippers or house slippers can avoid the feeling of cold feet even in unfavorable indoor climatic conditions.

According to the invention the object is achieved in that an electrically heatable heating mat is arranged between the insole and the outsole in a heat storage layer, which consists of a network of resistance wires embedded in an insulating layer, and is connected to a connector arranged in the shoe for a plug of an extension cable. Each slipper or slipper can be connected to a standard 220 volt socket using the extension cable. Further features of the invention are described in the subclaims.

In the drawings, two embodiments of the invention are shown, which are explained in more detail below. It shows
  • 1 shows a house side slipper according to the invention in a schematic side view in section
  • 2 shows another embodiment of a house slipper in a schematic transverse view in section.

The house slipper 1 shown in FIG. 1 consists of a lower shoe part 7 and an upper shoe part 6. The lower shoe part 7 has an insole 3 and an outsole 4. Between the insole 3 and the outsole 4, a heating mat 5 formed from resistance wires 8 is arranged, which is connected to a temperature limiter 16 at the rear section. The temperature limiter 16 can be designed to be adjustable and serves to prevent the heating mat 5 from overheating. The temperature limiter 16 is connected to a connector 10 which can be connected to a plug 11 of an extension cable 12. If heating of the heating mat 5 is desired, it is only necessary to insert the plug 11 of the extension cable 12 into the connector 10 and to connect the extension cable 12 to a live socket (not shown).

The heating mat 5 consists of a network of resistance wires 8 which are made of e.g. Rubber are stored. The heating mat 5 is surrounded by a heat storage layer 13. This can e.g. consist of a ceramic granulate. It is also possible to use a powdered granulate made from natural spices such as seeds of paprika, ginger or brassica. Surprisingly, this powdered granulate has proven to be particularly suitable for heat storage. It is also possible to produce the heat storage layer 13 from a mixture of ceramic granules and powdery granules from natural spices.

The house slipper 2 according to FIG. 2 also consists of an upper shoe part 6 and a lower shoe part 7. The lower shoe part 7 is designed like the house slipper 1. The shoe upper 6, on the other hand, has a multilayer structure. It consists of a lower layer 18 and an upper layer 17 and a heat storage layer 15 embedded between the upper layer 17 and the lower layer 18. The heat storage layer 14 is connected to the heat storage layer 13 of the lower part 7 of the shoe. The material of the heat storage layers 13, 14 can be like that described for the house slipper 1. When the heat storage layer 13 is heated by the heating mat 5, heat is transferred to the heat storage layer 14 by conduction and by convection. The heat transfer by convection is favored by the fact that the insole 3 has a low thermal resistance in the area of the shoe upper 6 and is therefore heated relatively quickly. As a result, the air located in the cavity formed by the shoe upper 6 is quickly heated and in turn heats up the heat storage layer 14. For this purpose, it is expedient to also form the lower layer 18 in such a way that it has a low thermal resistance.

In order to prevent rapid cooling of the heat storage layer 13 or 13, 14, it is expedient to design the outsole 4 and the shoe upper 6 or the upper layer 17 of the shoe upper 6 by choosing a suitable material as a thermal insulation layer. In addition, both the shoe upper 6 and the shoe lower 7 can be vapor-permeable.
