Abstract

La présente invention concerne une installation pour empiler des journaux et comprend une station collectrice (9) et un mécanisme de transport (1, 2) pour faire avancer un cheminement de journaux (8) se chevauchant mutuellement vers la station collectrice (9), une pile finie (10) possédant un nombre prédéterminé de liasses de journaux individuelles déplacées latéralement (11) contenant chacune un nombre prédéterminé de journaux. En conformité avec la présente invention, le mécanisme de transport comprend deux convoyeuses séparées (1, 2) en tandem, dont au moins une peut pivoter latéralement par rapport à l'autre; entre lesdites convoyeuses (1, 2) se trouve un compteur ou détecteur de journaux (5) relié à des circuits électroniques de commande (7), qui peut être réglé pour compter un nombre facultatif de journaux et qui, après le passage d'un nombre prédéterminé de journaux, est conçu pour actionner des mécanismes (5, 12) prévus pour faire tourner latéralement selon un angle prédéterminé la convoyeuse d'approche (1) et le cheminement de journaux transportés par celle-ci.

Claims (3)

1. Une installation d'empilage comportant un poste collecteur (9) et des moyens de transfert (1, 2) pour transférer un courant de journaux (8) se chevauchant mutuellement vers le poste collecteur (9), un empilement (10) déjà formé et comportant des piles individuelles (11) formant un nombre prédéterminé de journaux (8), les piles étant mutuellement espacées latéralement par rapport à la direction de déplacement, lesdits moyens de transfert comportant deux transporteurs (1, 2) en tandem, au moins un rouleau presseur (15) étant situé au-dessus du premier (1) desdits transporteurs (1, 2), caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un transporteur (1) peut tourner autour d'un axe (3) qui est disposé à une extrémité de celui-ci, d'un angle latéral prédéterminé, par rapport à l'autre transporteur (2), et en ce que chaque transporteur (1,2) comporte deux poulies extrêmes (13), un rouleau (12) rappelé par ressort étant disposé au-dessus de la poulie (13) du transporteur de réception (2) au voisinage du transporteur d'approche (1), ce rouleau (12) étant agencé pour appuyer contre le courant de journaux et la poulie (13) du transporteur de réception (2) de manière à maintenir au moins le dernier journal arrivant (8') d'une première pile de journaux dans une zone de pincement (14) pendant le mouvement de basculement du transporteur d'approche (11), ladite zone de pincement (14) étant formée entre le rouleau (12) et la poulie (13), simultanément au fait qu'au moins le premier journal (8") de la pile suivante de journaux est agencé pour être maintenu par le rouleau presseur (15) du transporteur d'approche (1), ledit rouleau (15) étant rappelé par ressort contre le courant de journaux sur le transporteur et accompagnant le basculement latéral du transporteur (1).
2. Installation selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le transporteur d'approche (1) peut tourner latéralement et en ce que le transporteur de réception (2), qui est adjacent à celui-ci, est disposé de manière fixe et comporte le poste collecteur (9).
3. Installation selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'une tige de piston appartenant à un vérin (4) à air comprimé est prévue à l'extrémité du transporteur d'approche (1) qui est tournée vers le transporteur de réception (2) pour le basculement latéral du transporteur d'approche (1).
