Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Haarbürste mit Kunststoffborsten. The invention relates to a hairbrush with plastic bristles.
When brushing the hair with a styling brush with plastic bristles, the hair and brush are usually charged electrostatically, especially when it is dry. This affects the hair's stylability.
The electrostatic charging of the hair when brushing arises from frictional electricity (triboelectric effect) at the interface between the bristles of the brush and the hair. Because of the insulating properties of bristles and hair, the separated charges cannot flow away and lead to charge accumulations of opposite polarity on hair and bristles. For this purpose, a series of voltages can be set up in such a way that a positive charge occurs when there is friction or contact with the substance following in the series and a negative charge occurs when there is friction or contact with the preceding substance. According to Coehn's law on charging, it applies to insulators that the substance with the higher dielectric constant charges positively.
Even if one of the materials rubbed against one another is a conductor, for example when using a brush with metal bristles or plastic bristles coated with metal, charging of the other material cannot be prevented completely because the separated by the contact Charges remain at least in part on the insulator. Especially in dry air (and dry hair), an individually more or less strong, but in any case unforeseeable electrostatic charging of the hair cannot be avoided even when using a hairdressing brush with conductive bristles.
The invention has for its object to provide a hairdressing brush with a predetermined electrostatic charging behavior, so when used, the hair is electrostatically charged in a certain way, in particular but not at all or not noticeably or disruptively. In the case of the hairbrush of the type mentioned at the outset, the solution according to the invention is characterized by the structure of the bristle set consisting of bristles negatively charging the hair when brushing and bristles positively charging the hair when brushing.
According to the invention, the bristle is thus equipped with bristles made of materials, one of which is in front of the hair in the series of stresses mentioned at the beginning and the other in the series of tension after the hair. The invention can also be described using Coehn's law of charging that the brush is to be covered with at least two different types of insulating bristles, the material of one type of bristle having a lower dielectric constant than normal hair and the material of the other type of bristle having a higher dielectric constant than normal hair should own.
By using two plastics that, taken on their own, charge the hair when brushing about the same strength, but with different polarity, it is achieved that when using the brush that normally the electrostatic load on the hair that occurs when brushing is automatically neutralized. By selecting the individual materials, numerical ratios and / or spatial distributions of the two bristle types, it is also possible to specify a specific charge. However, the numerical ratio and / or the spatial distribution of the two types of bristles should preferably be selected in order to mutually neutralize the charge generated by the bristles on the hair. The material, number and spatial distribution of the bristles can be selected so that the brushed hair according to the invention has a certain or practically no resulting electrostatic charge. Further details of the invention are explained on the basis of the schematic representation of the exemplary embodiment.
Minuszeichen symbolisiert. The brush according to the drawing consists of
The materials of the two types of bristles can be selected from the above-mentioned series of voltages so that the bristle trimmings 3 generally do not result in any resulting charging of the hair when used. In a particularly favorable embodiment, the
