Abstract

The present invention relates to a system for elastically assembling two identical pieces, wherein one of the ends of a piece comprises two lugs between which is disposed a bar in the form of an arc of circle, while the opposite end of this piece comprises a flange provided with two notches in which are engaged the lugs of a second, identical piece while the convex face of the bar abuts against the inner face of the flange. Beads on one piece engage in notches of the other piece to complete the assembly. The invention is particularly applicable to games and toys.

Claims (8)

1. System having several elements for mouting at least two components of generally flat appearance, the opposite extremities of which carry lugs (3, 4) engaging in notches (6, 7) in the other component and resilient means (2) for axially retaining a rigid feature (5) of the other component, characterised in that a first element of the system comprises a resilient bar (2) shaped as a concave arc of a circle in its external direction, disposed between the ends of the two axial lugs (3,4) projecting from the relevant extremity of the component in question, whilst a second element of the system includes at the opposite extremity of the component a rigid edge (5) provided with two notches (6, 7) which are traversed during the mounting by the lugs (3, 4) of the first element so that the resilient bar (2) of the latter is supported resiliently against the inner face (5a) of said rigid edge (5) of the second element.
2. Mounting system according to claim 1, characterised in that the edge (5) of its second element presents a height equal to the thickness of the bar (2) of the first element.
3. Mounting system according to claim 2, characterised in that a longitudinal guide (8, 9) is provided adjacent to each notch (6, 7) of the second element to guide the outer face of each lug (3, 4) of the first element.
4. Mounting system according to claim 1, characterised in that the lugs (3, 4) of the first element support the bar (2) in such a way that the latter is offset in height towards the top of the component.
5. Mounting system according to claim 1, characterised in that the top of each lug (3, 4) is provided with a projection (3a, 4a) which penetrates into the corresponding notch (6, 7).
6. Mounting system according to claim 1, characterised in that the outer face of the edge (5) of the first element carries at the outside of the notches (6, 7) two projections (12, 13), each of which snaps into a depression (14,15,18,19) arranged correspondingly in the second element of the system.
7. System according to claim 6, characterised in that each depression comprises a slot (14,15) arranged in the wall (1 b) of the extremity of the component (1) and joining on to its free edge.
8. System according to claim 6, characterised in that its two elements extend from the inner face of two flat components (16,17) at the level of one edge so that they may be mounted perpendicularly with respect to each other.
