Description

The invention relates to a fence element, in particular for mobile fences or other demarcations, consisting of a large-area welding grid which has longitudinal and transverse wires and, for stabilization, has one or more beads in the center and bends on the upper edge and lower edge.

Such fence elements are used to delimit construction sites, storage spaces and the like. Facilities are used, the fence elements, which in principle are of the same design, being inserted into or provided with the subsurface or feet in order to give them the necessary stability. In the case of mobile fences in particular, quick or easy installation, i.e. Assembly and disassembly are important because the mobile fences are only set up for a limited period of time to secure or delimit construction sites or storage spaces.

Because of the need to equip such a fence element with sufficient stability and resistance, welded grids are used in known fence elements, which are welded to the side edges with support posts and which have a horizontally extending support element at the lower edge and also at the upper edge. It is known to have an L-profile at the bottom, i.e. weld a sheet metal to stabilize this edge so that it can be transported, for example, with forklifts. At the upper edge of such fence elements, the cross wires are slightly bent to make it difficult to climb over. A disadvantage of these fence elements is that the instability specified in particular in the case of welding grids with wires of small diameter can only be somewhat eliminated with the aid of additionally welded-on support elements, for example diagonal bars Has running bead and which is further folded to increase stability at the bottom and at the top. This gives the welding grid the stability necessary for use as a fence element, but only if all the welding points remain intact during the manufacture of the beads and bends. Since these welding points of the grid welded together prior to folding lie exactly in the edge point and more often also on the edge point, the welding point is so heavily stressed that the longitudinal and transverse wires are often detached. The stability of the entire grid is then jeopardized. The same also applies to the structure known from DE-U-1 840 605, in which the beads are provided transversely to the beads formed to increase the elasticity, but in which the beads can otherwise perform the same task when tensile stresses do not occur. Here, too, the welds between the longitudinal and transverse wires lie exactly at the point of the edge.

The present invention is based on the object of creating a weldable grid which can be used as a standing fence and is stabilized by beads and folds and which has increased stability even with large dimensions and which, moreover, can be easily and securely folded as a whole or provided with beads.

The object is achieved in that on the bevels or bevels of the beads parallel to the edge points acting longitudinal wires are arranged beyond the bevel, the edge points are kept free of any longitudinal wires.

These support wires ensure that the increase in stability of the welded mesh which is once sought and achieved by the folding or beading is also maintained, this not only being achieved by the support wires lying in the region of the edge points remaining connected to the cross wires, but also at the same time in that these support wires are arranged so that the bead formed is stabilized as such. A large-area structure can thus also be produced perfectly and used as an independent, stable fence element without the need for further stabilizing elements. Due to the increase in stability of such fence elements achieved in this way, it is possible to transport them upright, which considerably facilitates the transport and also the assembly of the corresponding fence elements.

According to an appropriate design, it is provided that the support wires are arranged on both sides of the respective bevel or bevel. As a result, additional stabilization of both the individual bead or the bevel of the individual bead and the fence element as a whole is achieved. Strain or even excessive strain on the welds cannot occur because the edge points are kept free of any longitudinal wires.

The correspondingly designed fence elements are permanently stabilized in every direction, so that they represent a large load-absorbing unit both as individual elements and in combination with other fence elements. The longitudinal and the support wires, which are alternately arranged on two levels due to the beads, are arranged just like the longitudinal wires, enclosing the support posts and at a distance from the next cross wire. The support posts and the wires can thus be connected to one another over a large area, for example welded, and then form an advantageous unit with little space requirement.

According to a white tter training are dispensed with, in which the support wires and the longitudinal wires at the edges of the welding grid are bent at right angles. The longitudinal and the support wires are appropriately folded between the first and second cross wires, so that the cross wires or welding points are not stressed, the first cross wire being favorable for coupling brackets and the like. Fasteners can be used. In addition to the lower weight and lower costs, such fence elements also have the advantage that they can also be connected to existing structures with simple aids. They can be used, for example, as a demarcation in garage halls or similar. Use buildings advantageously. Regardless of each support, they can be used if, according to a further development, the support wires and the longitudinal wires at the edges of the welding grid are folded several times to form an approximately closed profile. Although this is known in principle, it is not known for the fence elements formed with longitudinal and support wires.

For forklift forks or similar Auxiliary devices are given favorable support and contact surfaces if, according to a further development of the invention, the fold associated with the lower edge is L-shaped and has at least one reinforced support wire. Without any significant increase in the total weight of the fence element, it is possible to transport individual fence elements or entire groups upright. Additional welding work through a special profile is not necessary. Rather, the production of the fence element can take place fully automatically on conventional machines, only a correspondingly reinforced support wire or also a plurality of support wires and the L-shaped fold being provided.

Abkantung allzuweit von der Grundebene des Zaunelementes entferntIn addition to a welding grid with vertically and horizontally running wires, those with diagonally running wires are also to be used, the bevels or beads running at right angles to the substrate or, according to the invention, also diagonally to them. The beads according to the invention can advantageously be trapezoidal with the supporting wires securing them, that is to say with bevels, as a result of which a bend or bead can be formed over a large area without the end point of the bead or bend being too far removed from the base plane of the fence element

The invention is characterized in particular by the fact that a fence element, which is stable in itself and can be produced from a large-area welding grid, is created and can be used both as a mobile unit and as a stationary unit. This fence element, which is designed to be stable in itself, maintains its stability even under appropriate stresses, in particular the welding and connection points between the longitudinal and transverse bars are reliably retained even during the folding process. The beads or bends as such are additionally stabilized and secured by the support wires.

Further details and advantages of the invention result from the following description of the accompanying drawing, in which preferred exemplary embodiments are shown with the necessary details and individual parts. Show it:

  • Fig. 5 is a bead in partial section.

The fence element 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of longitudinal wires 2, 3 and transverse wires 4, 5, the individual longitudinal wires 2, 3 being connected to the support posts 6 arranged laterally and forming the lateral boundary, here welded.

The individual longitudinal 2, 3 and cross wires 4, 5 are each welded to one another, the welding grid 8 formed in this way having bends 9, 10 or beads 11, 12 in order to reduce the instability. The bevels 9, 10 are preferably formed on the upper edge 13 or lower edge 14, while the beads 11, 12 extend in the center of the welding grid 8.

The beads 11, 12 can, as shown in FIG. 1, have a V shape or, as shown in FIG. 2, a trapezoidal shape. The longitudinal wires 2, 3 projecting above the first cross wire 4 are arranged in two planes by the bevels 9, 10 or beads 11, 12 and thus comprise the support post 6. The longitudinal wires 2, 3 are with the support post 6, which is a rectangular or also has a round shape welded. In the case of the rectangular shape, as shown in FIG. 3, the individual welding point 22 can advantageously be attached and formed.

Zerstörung der Schweißstellen beim Abkantvorgang vermieden und zum anderen sind in vorteilhafterweise in der Versteifungsrichtung geschlossene Maschen gebildet.2 illustrates the trapezoidal bead, the distance between the two planes in which the longitudinal wires 2, 3 run can be predetermined by the choice of the bevel 18, 19. To increase the overall stability, support wires 20, 21 are arranged on the bevels 9, 10, as illustrated in FIG. 5. Since these support wires 20, 21 are each arranged on the other side of the fold, damage or destruction of the welds during the fold process is avoided on the one hand and, on the other hand, closed stitches are advantageously formed in the stiffening direction.

Fig. 4 shows a fence element 1, in which the support posts are dispensed with. Instead, 15 bevels 9 and 9 'are also ge on the lateral edges create a connection of the individual fence elements 1 in the area of the cross wires 4, 4 '. A fence element designed in this way can advantageously be easily connected to existing supports or structures or building sites, so that it is particularly well suited, for example, for the separation of parking spaces within parking garages. Individual fence elements can be screwed to one another in a simple manner, for example, via the cross wires 4, 4 '.

The welding grids 8 generally have vertical transverse wires 4, 5 and horizontal longitudinal wires 2, 3. According to a further advantageous embodiment, the wires 2, 3, 4, 5 run diagonally, in both cases with the support posts forming the lateral support elements 6 are welded.

The centrally formed beads 11, 12, which essentially remove the instability of the welding grid, run according to FIGS. 1 and 2 at right angles to the support posts 6 or the lateral support elements, which can also be designed as bends. The beads 11, 12 can also be arranged diagonally, namely in the case of the welding grid 8 with diagonally running wires 2, 3, 4, 5 or in the welding grid with vertically and horizontally running wires.

The fence element can, as described in relation to FIG. 4, be subdivided into parking garages and the like. be used. In addition, it can also be used for standing fences, garden fences, etc. Enclosures are used. For this purpose, it is particularly advantageous to fold the longitudinal wires at the edges so that an almost closed profile results. This profile can be used to push any necessary supports and ram them into the ground. It is also provided that the cross wires 4, 5 are extended at the edges 15 in the lower end so that they can be used for anchoring in the ground.

Claims (9)

1. A fence element, particularly for movable fences or other demarcation means, consisting of large- area welded grids (8) comprising longitudinal (2, 3) and transverse wires (4, 5) and which, as a stabilising measure, centrally has one or a plurality of furrows (11, 12) and folded over edges (9, 10) at the top and bottom edges (13, 14), characterised in that, disposed on the angled-over edges (9, 10) or slopes (18, 19) of the furrows (11, 12) and parallel with the canting points and acting as bracing wires (20, 21), there are longitudinal wires on either side of the angled-over edge, the canting points being maintained free of any longitudinal wires.
2. A fence element according to claim 1, characterised in that the bracing wires (20, 21) are disposed on both sides of the relevant angled-over edge (9, 10) or slope (18, 19).
3. A fence element according to claim 1, characterised in that the bracing wires (20,21) which byvir- tue of the furrows (11, 12) are alternately disposed in two planes, are, in the same way as the longitudinal wires (2, 3), disposed to engage around supporting posts (6), at a distance from the nearest transverse wire (4, 5).
4. A fence element according to claim 1, characterised in that the bracing wires (20, 21) and the longitudinal wires (2, 3) are angled over at right- angles at the edges (15) of the welded grid (8).
5. A fence element according to claim 4, characterised in that the bracing wires (20, 21) and the longitudinal wires (2, 3) are angled over between the first and second transverse wires (4, 5).
6. A fence element according to claim 4, characterised in that the bracing wires (20, 21) and the longitudinal wires (2, 3) are angled over several times at the edges (15) of the welded grid (8) to produce a virtually closed profile.
7. A fence element according to claim 1, characterised in that the angled over edge (10) associated with the bottom edge (14) is of L-shaped construction and has at least one reinforced bracing wire (20, 21).
8. A fence element according to claim 1, characterised in that the furrows (11, 12) with the reinforcing bracing wires (20, 21) are of trapezoidal construction.
9. A fence element according to claim 1, characterised in that the furrows (11, 12) and consequently the bracing wires (20, 21) are constructed so that they extend diagonally.
