Description
The invention relates to an X-ray diagnostic system according to the preamble of the claim.
There is a control circuit for the dose rate that keeps it constant based on a set target value. The actual value of the dose rate is formed by a sensor provided in the light path between the output of the X-ray image intensifier and the television camera.
Beide Signale werden dabei mit jeweils einem Sollwert verglichen und die Röntgenröhre wird beim Erreichen einer vorbestimmten Strahlendosis abgeschaltet.FR-A-2 305 094 describes an X-ray diagnostic system according to the preamble of the claim, in which a circuit forming an automatic exposure device receives a signal which is formed by a radiation detector which is arranged after the patient. Another signal is derived from the video signal from a television camera. Both signals are compared with a target value and the X-ray tube is switched off when a predetermined radiation dose is reached.
In the case of such an X-ray diagnostic system, in the event of malfunctions, no image can appear despite the occurrence of X-radiation at the output of the X-ray image intensifier or a video signal and thus a television image are missing despite an existing output image of the X-ray image intensifier. With such disorders, the patient and the user are unnecessarily exposed to radiation. Furthermore, there is an unnecessary peak load on the x-ray generator and the x-ray tube, which is caused by the up-regulation of the dose rate automatics.
The invention has for its object to provide an X-ray diagnostic system of the type mentioned, in which it is monitored whether an image actually appears at the output of the X-ray image intensifier when X-ray radiation occurs and a television signal is present and in which the X-ray tube is automatically switched off in the event of faults.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the training specified in the characterizing part of the claim. In the X-ray diagnostic system according to the invention, both the X-ray image intensifier and the television chain are monitored for faults, so that the patient is not exposed to unused radiation and unnecessary stress on the generator and the X-ray tube is avoided.
The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
In the drawing, an X-ray device is shown which carries an
In the beam path between the
The
In the illustrated embodiment, in addition to the
