Claims (1)

1. Diagnostic X-ray apparatus with an image intensifier television system (3, 5, 6, 7) and an X-ray generator (8) which feeds the X-ray tube (2), measuring devices (9, 12) being provided for the formation of electrical signals dependent upon the occurrence of X-ray radiation and a video signal which corresponds to an X-ray image, these signals being fed to a circuit (10) which disconnects the X-ray tube (2) when predetermined conditions are fulfilled, characterised in that the circuit (10) represents a safety circuit which is fed, in addition to the radiation and video image dependent signals, with a signal dependent upon the light at the output of the X-ray image intensifier (3) and is designed such that is disconnects the X-ray tube (2) in the event of no light and/or no video signal occurring following the occurrence of X-ray radiation.
