Ein anderer bereits bekannter, in der DE-PS 587173 beschriebener Klemmstülpdeckel aus Blech für Konservendosen weist in der Deckelseitenwand eine ohne Unterbrechung umlaufende Klemmsicke und unterhalb davon einen mit aufgerolltem Ende versehenen Führungsteil auf. Wesentlich für diesen Stülpdeckel ist, daß die Aufrollung sich fast unmittelbar an die Klemmsicke anschließt, so daß der Führungsteil ungefähr in Höhe des lichten Raumes der Aufrollung liegt. Zweck dieser Ausbildung ist es, eine ausreichende Versteifung der Klemmsicke zu erhalten, so daß der Deckel, z. B. bei kochfesten Konservendosen, mit Sicherheit kräftig genug am Dosenkörper sitzt. Die Rippen springen nach innen bis über den Außenumfang des zu verschließenden Behälters vor. Sie sind in einer nur geringen, vorzugsweise fünf betragenden Anzahl vorhanden. Die Rippen weisen einen solchen Innenüberstand über den Randwulst auf, daß sie beim Aufbringen des Deckels bis in seine endgültige Schließlage eine bleibende Verformung im Bereich ihrer Kreuzungsstelle mit dem Randwulst des Behälters in Gestalt einer in Anpassung an die Randwulstform verhältnismäßig kleinen Ausbeulung nach innen erfahren, während die Rippenenden unterhalb der Kreuzungsstelle infolge ihrer Formsteifheit unverformt bleiben.DE-PS 1 532411 describes a cover corresponding to the type mentioned at the outset. Vielmehr genügt zur Ausübung des axialen Druckes ein ortsfest an der Maschine angebrachter Anschlag mit Schrägfläche oder eine ortsfest an ihr gelagerte Rolle. Sie wird beeinflußt durch etwaige Abweichungen der Mündung des Glasbehälters von der genau kreisrunden Form sowie durch die möglicherweise unterschiedliche Wulstdicke, und sie hängt auch davon ab, inwieweit ein zentrischer Sitz des Deckels auf der Behältermündung erreicht wird. Dennoch werden diese bekannten Deckel nach der DE-PS 1 532411 seit vielen Jahren in großem Umfang verwendet.
