Claims (8)

1. Cupboard having a metal frame for the side walls, characterised in that two cover plates (28, 29), which enclose the metal frame between them and which are screwed to it, engage over the metal frame (4), and that on the end face of the metal frame (4) there is provided a screwed-on metal section (22) which is open on the outside and is roughly U-shaped and over which engages a likewise U-shaped masking section (23) of elastic plastics material whose base face points outwards.
2. Cupboard according to Claim 1, characterised in that the metal section (22) is fitted in portions and that adjusting blocks (10) for hinges (10,11,12,13,14,15) are screwed on between the portions.
3. Cupboard according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the metal frame (4) has screw channels disposed horizontally and vertically relative to the side wall and receiving the fastening screws (33) of the screwed-on cover plates (28, 29).
4. Cupboard according to one or more of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the vertical frame parts (5 ; 6) are provided with vertically extending screw channels (35) to receive connecting screws for connection to the horizontal frame parts (7).

Cupboard according to one or more of Claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the hinge arm (11) of the hinge is curved to form a loop, while the hinge arm of the bearing pin (17) on the adjusting block (10) first extends in the direction of the outside of the cupboard and then in the opposite direction between the bearing pin and in front of the metal frame (4) as far as a fastening plate (13) on the door (26), to which it is screwed.
6. Cupboard according to Claim 5, characterised in that the fastening plate (13) is provided with threaded fastening bores (40) disposed in mirror symmetry with a central plane determined by the centres of fastening screws (14).
7. Cupboard according to Claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the hinge arms (11) and/or the fastening plates (13) are provided with longitudinal slots (12) extending in the horizontal direction.
8. Cupboard according to one or more of Claims 2 to 7, characterised in that the bearing pins (17) for the adjusting blocks (10) lie in a plane offset relative to the longitudinal centre plane through the side wall (1).
