Abstract

1. A sales stand for storing and offering goods, especially assortments of balls of wool and yarn, comprising a substantially cylindrical sleeve made from a flexible strip blank with releasable connecting edges and two circumferential edges, characterised in that, the connecting edges (8, 10) of the blank (2) have oppositely turned-over folds (12, 14) which interlock, that a plurality of inwardly directed indents (16) are provided in the blank (2) at predetermined levels from the lower circumferential edge, that a plurality of inserts rest on the indents (16) of the blank (2) with slight clearance and that openings (20) are provided above respective inserts (18) for receiving or replenishing the goods.

Description

The invention relates to a sales stand for storing and offering goods, in particular wool and yarn ball assortments, and a blank for producing the same.

Such display stands are known (FR-A-2 367 457) and are used for a wide variety of goods in various forms and serve to present the goods in question in the sales rooms to the customer. In addition, the goods contained in the sales stand should be stored appropriately and in a space-saving manner. Sales stands of the known type are still in need of improvement when it comes to offering the goods for sale in an aesthetically particularly appealing manner and to make the sales stands inexpensive to manufacture and easy to equip and easy to handle.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a sales stand of the type mentioned at the outset, which is particularly suitable for storing and offering wool and yarn ball assortments, and which presents the goods in a particularly appealing manner, is easy and inexpensive to manufacture, transportable and can be fitted with the goods, and at the same time realizes a large capacity in the smallest possible space.

This object is achieved in the sales stand, as characterized in claim 1.

The advantages of the invention are that the sales stand consists of a cylindrical sleeve which is filled with goods in its interior and for this purpose contains inserts which are mounted on inward-facing indentations. The sleeve is produced from only one flexible, web-shaped blank, which is detachably shaped to form the sleeve at two merging, overlapping cutting edges. In this way, the sales stand can be put together very easily when filling from the sheet-like cut and insertion, it then takes up a relatively large amount of goods due to its cylindrical shape with a relatively small footprint and can therefore be assembled even without a large empty volume - even in several Units - pack and e.g. B. Send to retail stores. A decisive advantage is that a large number of sales stands due to the design principle according to the invention as a stack of web-shaped blanks and the generally flat inserts, i. H. with maximum packing density, d. H. with the minimum transport costs, can be delivered to the manufacturer or wholesaler of the goods in question, who then puts the individual sales stands together and equips them with the goods.

The sales stand according to the invention is constructed in such a way that the production of the generally flat blanks and inserts, the shipping of these parts, the assembly of these parts, the equipping and the subsequent shipping of the assembled sales stand are particularly simple and inexpensive and that the goods are particularly advantageous and is presented in a small space.

The blank consists of a transparent plastic material and accommodates several flat inserts at a predetermined distance from one another. The inserts rest on corresponding, inward-facing indentations. The distance between the stakes corresponds essentially to the amount of the goods placed on the stakes, e.g. B. the balls of wool or yarn. A relatively large, e.g. B. rectangular opening for removal or for refilling the goods. By using the transparent plastic material, the goods are presented in a particularly eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing manner. Through the openings you can quickly pick out the goods that the buyer wishes to buy.

The sleeve particularly preferably has essentially a circular cross section which, when using flat blanks, is already established by connecting the connecting edges due to the inherent elasticity of the flexible web material used. The inserts are then also circular in shape and are inserted into the sleeve with little lateral play, thereby permanently establishing the desired cross-sectional shape. Alternatively, other cross sections of the sleeve z. B. also realize that corresponding corners are formed in the blanks. This allows the empty volume to be reduced when sending several loaded sleeves, but at the same time the transport volume when sending the blanks is increased.

The cross section of the sleeve preferably increases or decreases slightly towards the top. Since the bottom insert is inserted a predetermined short distance above the lower circumferential edge, several sales stands can then be placed one above the other and assembled into a floor-to-ceiling column. It is thus possible to accommodate and offer a multicolored range of wool or yarn in such a column in a space-saving manner, and the customer can easily remove balls of the desired wool quality or color through the openings above the individual layers or inserts of the individual sales stands.

Fig. 1 shows a substantially rectangular blank 2 made of flexible, sheet-like and transparent plastic material. The blank 2 has two mutually opposite connecting edges 8, 10 which have folds 12, 14 folded in opposite directions. The fold edges 9 run at a small angle to one another, as will be explained in more detail. The other two edges of the blank 2 are referred to as the lower peripheral edge 6 and as the upper peripheral edge 4. In the blank 2 several indentations 16 z. B. molded by a deep-drawing process. Several indentations 16 each lie on a straight line that runs parallel to the peripheral edges 4, 6. Openings 20 are cut out parallel to the connecting edges 8, 10 at a predetermined distance from one another.

A blank 2 is curved to form a sleeve 1, and the folded connecting edges 8, 10 are detachably inserted into one another, see in particular FIGS. 4 and 5. Due to the inherent flexibility of the blank 2, an essentially circular sleeve cross section is formed, which is due to the not exactly parallel fold edges 9 slightly, and barely perceptible to the eye, tapering up or down. The sleeve 1 formed in this way stands on the lower peripheral edge 6. All the indentations point into the interior of the sleeve 1. All the indentations 16 lying at a height serve as support bearings for a flat intermediate floor or insert 18, which also has a circular shape little play is placed on the indentations 16 and permanently determines the circular cross section of the sales stand. Immediately above the individual inserts 18, additional hold-down devices 17 can be molded inwards, which hold the inserts 18 in their position.

Between the individual inserts 18 there is an opening 20 for removing and refilling the goods lying on the insert 18 in question. The openings 20 are arranged one above the other. If desired, two or more removal openings 20 can also be provided above each insert 18. Two or more customers can then take goods from different sides at the same time.

In FIG. 3, a second sales stand is arranged above a first sales stand, the lower peripheral edge of which - due to the low taper of the sales stand - can be inserted into the upper peripheral edge 4 of the lower sales stand and is held there steadily.

FIG. 4 shows the cross section of the sales stand according to FIGS. 2 and 3 and shows the inward-directed indentations 16 under an insert 18.

5 shows an enlarged illustration of the connecting edges 8, 10 of the blank 2, which are detachably latched into one another. The connecting edges 8, 10 have an inwardly folded fold 12 or an outwardly folded fold 14, which are bent with a predetermined radius of curvature on the folded edge 9. The folds 12, 14 engage in one another over the entire length of the connecting edge and form an easily produced releasable connection.

Alternatively, other known connecting means can be formed on the connecting edges in order to produce the releasable engagement or latching connection.

Claims (8)

1. A sales stand for storing and offering goods, especially assortments of balls of wool and yarn, comprising a substantially cylindrical sleeve made from a flexible strip blank with releasable connecting edges and two circumferential edges, characterised in that, the connecting edges (8, 10) of the blank (2) have oppositely turned-over folds (12, 14) which interlock, that a plurality of inwardly directed indents (16) are provided in the blank (2) at predetermined levels from the lower circumferential edge, that a plurality of inserts rest on the indents (16) of the blank (2) with slight clearance and that openings (20) are provided above respective inserts (18) for receiving or replenishing the goods.

2. A sales stand according to claim 1, characterised in that, the blank (2) bent into the sleeve (1) has a circular cross-section.

3. A sales stand according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that, corners extending parallel to the connecting edges (8, 10) are formed in the blank (2) and that the sleeve from that blank (2) has an angled cross-section.

4. A sales stand according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, the cross-section of the sleeve (1) slightly increases upwardly.

5. A sales stand according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that, the cross-section of the sleeve (1) slightly decreases upwardly.

6. A sales stand according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, hand grips (21) are cut or formed in the b!ank (2).

A blank for producing a sales stand according to one of claims 1 to 6, of flat, transparent and flexible plastics material with a substantially rectangular or square shape, comprising two opposite circumferential edges and two opposite connecting edges, characterised in that, the connecting edges are oppositely folded over and can be brought into engagement, that a plurality of indents (16) directed towards one side are provided at a respective predetermined distance from one circumferential edge (6), and that openings (20) are provided at a predetermined distance from each other parallel to the connecting edges (8, 10).

8. A blank according to claim 7, characterised in that, at lease one connecting edge (8, 10) has a folded edge (9) extending slightly inclined relatively to the circumferential edges.
