Die Zähnezahl dieses Zahnrades beträgt etwa 100 Zähne, vorzugsweise sind 96 Zähne vorgesehen. Während einer vollständigen Arbeitsperiode eines Viertaktmotors macht die Kurbelwelle bekanntlich zwei Umdrehungen, so daß für eine vollständige Arbeitsperiode 192 Impulse zur Verfügung stehen. Bei den üblichen Abmessungen des Zündverteilers kann man auf dem betreffenden Zahnrad ohne Schwierigkeiten 48 Zähne unterbringen. Es ist dann erforderlich, den Topfmagneten entsprechend zu bemessen. Die Impulse des Impulsgenerators müssen dann um einen Faktor 4 vervielfacht werden, damit man die für die Steuerung erforderliche Impulszahl erhält. Diese Anordnung der Zündvorrichtung nach der Erfindung läßt sich jederzeit leicht in eine vorhandene Brennkraftmaschine einbauen, so daß die Vorteile der elektronischen Zündung auch durch Nachrüstung von Brennkraftmaschinen ausgenutzt werden können.The invention thus uses the existing distributor.
