Dabei wird der Bezugstoff zwischen die beiden Profilleisten eingelegt und beim Aufdrücken der Aufsatzprofilleiste auf die Basisprofilleiste eingeklemmt. Bei einer der Ausführungsformen der bekannten Vorrichtung wird die Verriegelung derAufsatzprofilleiste mit der Basisprofilleiste dadurch erreicht, dass die Aufsatzprofilleiste auf ihrer der Basisprofilleiste zugewandten Unterseite seitliche Raststege mit einwärts gerichteten Rasthaken aufweist, die mit einem mittleren Nocken in Form eines von der Längsmittelebene des Basissteges ausgehenden Mittelsteges mit einer kopfseitigen Verdickung in Verriegelungseingriff gelangen. Bei einem weiteren Ausführungsbeispiel der bekannten Vorrichtung erfolgt die Verriegelung der beiden Profilleisten unter Zwischenlegung des Bezugsstoffes dadurch, dass die Aufsatzprofilleiste in ihren beiden Längsrandbereichen mit je einem Nocken versehen ist, die in entsprechende Nockenvertiefungen der Basisprofilleiste einrasten. Schliesslich ist neben weiteren Verriegelungsmöglichkeiten eine Ausführungsform der bekannten Vorrichtung vorgesehen, bei der die Aufsatzprofilleiste mit einem mittleren Verriegelungsnocken versehen ist, der mit einer in der Längsmittelebene des Basissteges von diesem vorstehend angeordneten Nockenvertiefung in Rasteingriff bringbar ist. Allen Ausführungsformen der bekannten Vorrichtung ist gemeinsam, dass die Verbindung zwischen den beiden Profilleisten infolge eines stets nur einfachen, entweder auf die beiden Längsrandbereiche oder auf den Mittelbereich derAufsatzprofilleiste beschränkten Rasteingriffs leicht lösbar ist. Der Anwendungsbereich der bekannten Vorrichtung ist daher auf solche Fälle beschränkt, in denen eine leichte Lösbarkeit beabsichtigt ist oder in denen die Vorrichtung keine grossen Beanspruchungen erfährt. Für eine Anwendung an insbesondere Möbelkörpern, wie Sesseln oder Stühlen, ist die bekannte Vorrichtung daher nicht geeignet, da hierbei bei Benutzung des Möbelkörpers die Gefahr besteht, dass die Aufsatzprofilleiste ungewollt aus ihrem Verriegelungseingriff mit der Basisprofilleiste gelöst wird. 1. A device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the thickened portions (8, 9) at the head side of the lateral webs (6, 7) of the base profiled strip (1) have the basic shape of a mushroom head with arching (25) at the top in cross-section, in the underside (26) of which the lateral webs end.

A device as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that the lateral webs (6, 7) of the base profiled strip (1) end in the underside (26) of the mushroom-head cross-section of the thickened portions (8, 9) of the lateral webs, eccentrically, being offset towards the vertical longitudinal central plane (5) of the base web (4).

A device as claimed in claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the underside (26) of the mushroom-head cross-section forms, at each side of each lateral web (6, 7), locking angles (α, β) with this for the detent hooks (18, 19, 21, 22) of the superimposed profiled strip (15), the locking angles (α, β) preferably being acute angles and the underside (26) of the mushroom-head cross-section preferably forming a more acute angle (a) with the outside than with the inside of each lateral web (6, 7).
6. A device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the base web (4) of the base profiled strip (1) is provided at one or both sides, with a sewing-on lug (33a) which projects beyond the lateral webs (6, 7) and their thickened portions (8, 9) at the head side.
7. A device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the base web (4) of the base profiled strip (1) can be fastened to the support member (2) by means of steel staples (14).
8. A device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the base web (4) of the base profiled strip (1) is provided, at its underside, with one or more strip-shaped detent hooks (34) for its location in one or more locking grooves in the support member.
9. A device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the superimposed profiled strip (15) comprises, in each case, between its lateral detent webs (16, 17) and its centre web (20), a cavity (23, 24) which is open at the bottom with a cross-sectional shape corresponding to the thickened portions (8, 9) at the head side of the lateral webs (6, 7) of the base profiled strip (1) and preferably has a substantially smooth outside contour (28) engaging round the base profiled strip (1) at the top and marginal side in the superimposed state.
10. 11. A device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the lateral detent webs (16,17) of the superimposed profiled strip (15) are constructed, as a whole, in the form of thickened and widened lug-shaped marginal strips (39).
