Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung für eine flexible Kabelverbindung zwischen zwei mechanisch getrennten, funktionell zusammenarbeitenden Geräten.The invention relates to a device for a flexible cable connection between two mechanically separated, functionally cooperating devices.

Bei mechanisch getrennten, jedoch elektrisch und funktionell zusammenarbeitenden Geräten, beispielsweise bei der Zusammenarbeit zwischen einem Bedienteil und einer Verarbeitungseinrichtung, besteht häufig der Wunsch, die Geräte einerseits so eng wie möglich zusammenzustellen, andererseits sie bei Bedarf auch getrennt voneinander anzuordnen. Dem steht bei bekannten Geräten dieser Art hindernd im Wege, daß die Kabelverbindung zwischen den Geräten in aller Regel eine vierpolige Verbindung ist, d. h. daß das Verbindungskabel relativ dick ist und eine beachtliche Steifigkeit aufweist. Das Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 1 und 2, auf die im folgenden gemeinsam Bezug genommen wird, zeigt teilweise ein erstes Gerät 1, beispielsweise eine Druckeranordnung, und ein zweites Gerät 2, beispielsweise eine i astatur. Ein Verbindungskabel 3 stellt die elektrische Verbindung zwischen den beiden Geräten her. Dieses ist am Gerät 1 über einen Stecker 4 an die Stekkerverbindung 9 angeschlossen. Mit dem Gerät 2 ist das Kabel direkt verbunden. Hier ist deshalb eine Austrittsstelle 5 vorgesehen. Gemäß der Neuerung ist am Gehäuse des einen Gerätes, nämlich am Gehäuse der Tastatur 2 und am Gehäuse des anderen Gerätes, nämlich am Gehäuse des Druckers 1 jeweils eine taschenförmige Ausnehmung 6 bzw. 7 vorgesehen. Die Ausnehmung 6 am Gerät 2 ist dabei auf der Rückseite und die Ausnehmung 7 am Gerät 1 ist an der Vorderseite des Gehäuses angeordnet. Die Ausnehmung 6 am Gerät 1 dient dazu, das für die Kabelverbindung verwendete Rundkabel schleifenförmig aufzunehmen. Die Größe der taschenförmigen Ausnehmung 6 ist derart bemessen, daß sie die für eine Verschiebung der Geräte 1 und 2 zueinander notwendige Kabellänge aufnehmen kann. Die taschenförmige Ausnehmung 7 am Gehäuse des Gerätes 1 dient im wesentlichen dazu, eine relativ kleine Schleife 8 des Kabels 3 sowie den für die Steckerverbindung notwendigen Stecker 4 versenkt aufzunehmen. Anhand von Fig. 2 erkennt man, wie sich das Kabel 3 innerhalb der taschenförmigen Ausnehmung 6 bzw. 7 schleifenförmig einlegt, ohne daß die gewünschte Lage der beiden Geräte zueinander behindert wird. Befindet sich das Gerät 2 unmittelbar vor dem Gerät 1 (stark ausgezogene Linie in Fig. 2) so bildet das Kabel 3 in der taschenförmigen Ausnehmung 6 eine relativ weite Schleife, wobei die durch die Steifigkeit des Kabels bedingten Andruckkräfte, die eine Verschiebung des Gerätes zur Folge haben könnten, in Folge der Tiefe der Ausnehmung 6 nahezu unwirksam bleiben. Bei einer Verschiebung des Gerätes 2 nach links oder nach rechts (strichpunktierte Linie in Fig. 2) wird das Kabel 3 gestreckt und befindet sich in dieser gestreckten Lage ebenfalls innerhalb der taschenförmigen Ausnehmung 6 bzw. 7. In allen diesen Fällen befindet sich das Verbindungskabel jeweils im Inneren der Geräte und stört die gewünschte Anordnung der Geräte zueinander nicht. Claims (2)

1. Apparatus for a flexible cable connection between two mechanically separated, functionally co-operating devices, characterized in that in the respective housings of the two co-operating devices (1, 2), on the sides facing one another during normal operation, there is in each case arranged a recess (7, 6); that the recess (7) of the one device (1) has an extension for accommodating at least the plug (4) of the plug-and-socket connection for the connection of the flexible cable (3); and that the recess (6) of the other device (2), in which the outlet opening (5) for the flexible cable (3) is arranged, has an extension for accommodating at least one loop of the cable (3).
2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the connecting cable between the devices (1, 2) is a round cable.
