Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Entwässern extrahierter Zuckerrübenschnitzel, die zuerst einer Vorpres­ sung unterworfen werden, in der eine erste Preßwasser­ fraktion abgeschieden wird, worauf dann eine die Entwässe­ rung fördernde Flüssigkeit (Hilfsmittel) zugeführt wird und hieran anschließend ein Mischen, Kneten und Umschichten der mit dem zugeführten Hilfsmittel vermengten Zuckerrü­ benschnitzel ohne Abpressen von Preßwasser erfolgt, worauf dann die Zuckerrübenschnitzel zumindest eine weitere Preßzone durchlaufen, in der zumindest eine zweite Preßwasserfraktion (30) abgeschieden wird.
