  • a further disadvantage of some of the known coin holders is that these are difficult to assemble, usually being provided in parts or in a blank form, thus requiring an assembly of the holder prior to the insertion of coins therein. Still further, some of these holders do not positively lock the coins therein and sometimes the holder will become detached or break and its contents will fall out when subjected to small jolts. Furthermore, known holders are not provided with proper identification means to instruct the user of the proper denomination to be placed into the holder and consequently, this results in improper usage of the holders. Furthermore, some known holders are bulky and not nestable and are therefore awkward to handle and store and when consisting of more than one part, some of its parts become lost, rendering the holder entirely non-usable.

Claims (9)

1. Widerverwendbarer zylindrischer und durchsichtiger Münzenbehälter (50) mit zwei offenen Behälterhälften (51, 51') aus transparentem Plastikmaterial, von denen jede eine halbzylinderförmige Seitenwand (53) und eine im wesentlichen halbkreisförmige Stirnwand (54) an jedem Ende jeder der genannten Seitenwände aufweist, wobei der Münzenbehälter eine bestimmte Anzahl von Münzen aufnimmt, wenn die Behälterhälften zum Schließen des Behälters über die Seitenwände und quer zur Axialebene der zylindrischen Behälterhälften Stirnseite auf Stirnseite aufeinanderliegen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Behälterhälften entlang einer gemeinsamen Kante (52) parallel zur Zylinderachse miteinander verbunden sind, daß die Stirnwände zumindest einer der Behälterhälften je eine Endrippe (64) einschließen, die sich nach innen von und normal zu der Seitenwand erstreckt, daß die Stirnwände je einen Abschnitt (63) aufweisen, der von der Endrippe aus nach außen geneigt sich zur freien Kante der jeweiligen Stirnwand erstreckt, daß die Seitenwände (53) mit ihren Kanten aufeinanderliegend mittels eines Befestigungsmittels (60, 62) gegeneinander gesichert sind, wobei die Behälterhälften lösbar miteinander verbunden sind und daß das Befestigungsmittel einen Flansch (55) aufweist der sich von der der gemainsamen Kante gegenüberliegenden Kante der Seitenwand (53) einer der beiden Behälterhälften aus nach außen erstreckt und zwei oder mehrere Vertifungen (60) entlang der Flanschlängsrichtung voneinander beabstandet so angeordnet aufweist, daß diese Vertiefungen im Reibschluß je einen von zwei oder mehreren Vorsprüngen (62) der anderen der beiden Behälterhälften aufnimmt, die in der Scheitellinie der halbzylindrischen Seitenwand dieser Behälterhälfte im Abstand voneinander angeordnet sind.
2. Münzenaufnahmebehälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Endrippe (64) jeder Stirnwand jeder Behälterhälfte zugeordnet ist und sich über die gesamte Länge der jeweiligen Seitenwand in Umfangsrichtung des Halbzylinders erstreckt.

Münzenaufnahmebehälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede der Stirnwände mit einstückig mit ihr geformten Rippen (66) versehen ist, die gegenüber der jeweilligen Endwand (54) nach außen geneigt sind und ein Spiel der Stirnwände einer Behälterhälfte gegenüber Endmünzen an der jeweiligen Stirnwand der anderen Behälterhälfte und weiter ein Stapeln von Münsenaufnahmebehältern in der Außerbetriebsstellung ermöglichen.

Münzenaufnahmebehälter nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine der Behälterhälften eine einstückig mit ihr aufgeführten Flansch (58) aufweist, der zumindest an der, der den beiden Behälterhälften gemainsamen Kante gegenüberliegenden, Kante nach außen gerichtet ist und ein weiterer einstückig mit der Behälterhälfte ausgeführter Flansch (67) von den freien Kanten der Stirnwände aus nach außen gerichtet ist, um die Gestaltfestigkeit der Behälterhälften zu vergrößern.
5. Münzenaufnahmebehälter nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Plastikmaterial Vinylazetat in einer Dicke von 0,178 mm (0,007 in) ist, das gefärbt ist, um den Nennwert der in dem Münzenaufnahmebehälter enthaltenen Münzen feststellen zu Können.
6. Münzenaufnahmebehälter nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Behälterhälften gemainsame Kante ein Rippengelenk (52) aufweist.
7. Münzenaufnahmebehälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Behälterhälfte mit dem Flansch zumindest im Bereich der Scheitellinie der Seitenwand mit einer rauhen Außenseite versehen ist.
8. Münzenaufnahmebehälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine oder mehrere Dehnungsrippen (59) im Bereich des Flansches (55) zwischen der an der Behälterhälfte gehaltenen Flanschkante und der Flanschkante mit den Vertiefungen des Flansches in Längsrichtung des Flansches verlaufen, um eine Kraft zu erzeugen, die die Vorsprünge (62) nach ihrem Eindrigen in die Vertiefungen (60) in diesen hält.
