Description

The invention relates to a cassette with a film pressure plate for sheet-shaped film material, in particular X-ray film, with a frame with a lower plate and an upper plate, between which there is the pressure plate, which resiliently rests against the lower plate when the cassette is closed and from which when the cassette is open lower plate is lifted off, with a slit-shaped opening at one end of the frame for the insertion or removal of a film, with at least one lifting projection along each longitudinal edge of the pressure plate, with two push rods arranged on the long sides of the frame and in their longitudinal direction between a first position , in which the cassette is closed, and a second position in which the cassette is open, are movable.

Such cassettes are used together with appropriately trained film loading and unloading devices and film processing devices for processing the film in daylight.

In a cassette of this type known from GB Pat. No. 1,361,014, ramp surfaces are provided on the push rods for lifting the pressure plate. Although this construction is very simple, it has several disadvantages. In particular, due to the sliding friction, the force required to open the cassette is relatively large.

Likewise, relatively large spring forces or strong springs are required for resetting. Furthermore, the known cassette is not easy to assemble and disassemble despite the simple structure. This defect is particularly disadvantageous in the case of X-ray film cassettes, since the reinforcing screens on the pressure plate have to be replaced at times.

In the film cassette according to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided in that each push rod is assigned at least one round part which can be moved by it, which is arranged at a lifting attachment and, in the first position of the push rod, is located on one angle leg of an angled part, which angle leg below At least part of the lifting attachment is located, so that when the push rod is moved from the first to the second position, the round part is moved from the push rod on the angled part to its other angle leg, as a result of which an angle leg initially parallel to the pressure plate moves upwards is pivoted so that the lifting attachment and thus the pressure plate are lifted together with a light-shielding device which, when the cassette is closed, prevents light from penetrating through the opening into the cassette to open the cassette.

A preferred embodiment of the film cassette according to the invention is characterized in that the pressure plate has several lifting lugs on each side edge, each of which has a round part and an angled part. This results in a particularly even lifting of the pressure plate.

With regard to the disclosure of the invention, because of its great clarity and clarity, express reference is made to the drawings. In Fig. 1, a cassette has a four-sided frame 1, in which a slot-shaped opening 2 is provided at one end. A front and top plate 3 and a rear and bottom plate 4 complete the flat six-sided cassette. In Fig. 1, the ends of two push rods 5 are also shown.

An dieser Andrückplatte 6 sind zum An-oder Hochheben eine Anzahl Ansätze 7 angebracht.2 to 4, the same parts are designated by the same reference numerals. 2 all four sides of the frame 1 are shown. However, the front or top plate 3 is partially removed to show details of a push rod 5. A spring 6 is provided at the end of each push rod 5 (only one rod and one spring being shown in this figure). A pressure plate 6 is held under the front or upper plate 3. A number of lugs 7 are attached to this pressure plate 6 for lifting or lifting.

The push rod 5 are assigned two rollers 8. Each roller 8 sits on a lower angled part 9 (of which each end is designated by 9 in FIG. 2). There is an upper angled part 10 above each roll. This arrangement is shown in a perspective view in FIG. 3, broken down into individual parts.

Two upper angled parts 10 are connected to one another by a connecting or holding part 11. A number of leaf or flat springs 12 are attached to each mounting part 11. Furthermore, a light-shielding device 14 is provided which prevents light from entering the cassette when the cassette is closed.

In Fig. 3, the position of the roller 8 between the upper and lower angled part 10 and 9 is shown. In Fig. 3, the leaf spring 12 attached to the holding part 11 is shown so that it presses down on the pressure plate 6. The roller 8 is shown next to a lifting lug 7 which is attached to the pressure plate 6.

The push rod 5 is shown withdrawn from its position in the cassette. On the push rod 5 two lugs or projections 13 are attached, a roller is set by means of soft and can be brought into a corresponding position. The roller 8 fits exactly between the lugs 13, and when the push rod 5 is moved, the roller is also moved together with the push rod.

Dies entspricht der ersten Stellung der Schubstange.4.1 shows the cassette in the closed position. Here, the roller 8, which is arranged between the attachments 13 attached to the push rod 5, sits on the longer, flat part of the lower angled part 9. The long flat part of the upper angled part 10 also lies on the roller. In this position, the leaf springs 12 attached to the holding part 11 press the pressure plate 6 downwards, which is indicated by a broken line. The lifting lug 7 is fixed and arranged over the flat part of the angled part 9. This corresponds to the first position of the push rod.

As a result, the upper, angled part 10 has been slightly rotated and pivoted so that the leaf springs 12 no longer press down on the pressure plate 6.

In Fig. 4.3, the roller 8 has just been moved by means of the push rod 5 along the angled parts 9 and 10. As a result, the initially flat part of the lower angled part 9 has then been pivoted upward. As a result, the neck 7 has been raised, which in turn lifts the pressure plate 6 to which it is attached. The end position of the pressure plate 6 is shown here, which is raised upwards with respect to the rear or lower plate 4. The push rod 5 is now in its second position and the cassette is open.

In Fig. 5, reference numerals 6 to 9 and 12 denote the same parts as in the previous figures. In this embodiment, which is shown in the same view as FIG. 3, a connecting piece 15 is attached to the lower angled part 9, which is abaeboaen. to form a leaf spring support member 16. This mounting part is connected to a similar connector on the other side (not shown) of the cassette.

Die Endstellung der Andrückplatte 6 ist somit in Fig. 6.2 wiedergegeben.6 shows two positions of the roller 8 with respect to the lower angled part 9. In Fig. 6.1 the cassette is closed. The roller 8 sits on the long flat part of the angled part 9. In this position, the leaf spring 12 presses against the pressure plate 6. In Fig. 6.2, the cassette is in the open position. In this case, the roller 8 has been moved so that the longer part of the angled part 9 has been pivoted upwards, as a result of which the attachment 7 and the pressure plate 6 to which the attachment 7 is attached are raised. At the same time, the leaf spring 12 has been raised so that it no longer presses against the pressure plate 6. The end position of the pressure plate 6 is thus shown in Fig. 6.2.

The front or upper and the rear or lower plates 3 and 4 are fixed, immovable plates; this means that they will not be moved or lifted while the cartridge is being removed or loaded. However, it is possible to remove both plates from the frame 1 in order to disassemble and disassemble the cassette.

During operation, the film cassette according to the invention is normally in the closed state, in which the pressure plate 6 is pressed against the rear or lower plate 4 by the leaf springs 7. In order to load the cassette with a film, it is then inserted into an opening in a film dispenser, as described, for example, in British patent application 12 180/77 of March 23, 1977 or in GB - PS 1 361 014. In such an output device, the end of the cassette is inserted into the output opening in a light-tight manner. Two rods then press down on the push rods 5 so that the cassette is opened. The film is then placed in the cassette. The bars which press on the push rods 5 are then withdrawn and the cassette is thereby closed. It can then be removed from the dispenser. With other dispensing devices, a cassette is opened when it is inserted into the light-tight opening and the cassette is then closed again when it is removed from the opening. The film in the cassette can then be exposed in the usual way. After the exposure, the cassette is then turned over so that the slot points downward. The cassette is then placed in a film store or in a film processing device. The opening into which it is inserted is also light-tight. Facilities then come with the push rods 5 engages, whereby the cassette is opened and the film falls into a receptacle of the storage or processing device due to gravity. The cassette is closed when it is removed from this device. Both the film output device and the film storage or processing device can be located in a film exposure room with daylight.
