Abstract

The object of the invention is to provide a fastening arrangement for fastening a profile beam to a roof, providing faster installation compared to conventional fastening arrangements. The invention is based on the beam being formed out of a profile part having locking claws, and the cross-section profile of which being flexible in such a way that said locking claws can be reversibly pressed towards each other. The arrangement further comprises a fastener comprising an attachment notch for receiving the profile beam. The attachment notch comprises an entry opening that is narrower than the distance between the locking claws of the profile beam, and further comprises locking slots for engaging to the locking claws. In this manner the profile beam can be attached to the fastener without any tools by urging the profile beam into the attachment notch through the entry opening, whereby, as the profile beam regains its shape, the locking claws thereof engage to the locking slots of the attachment notch.
