Abstract
Un sistema y método para transcodificar contenido en modo remoto incluye un decodificador que genera una lista de ejecución correspondiente a los títulos de contenido almacenados en una memoria del decodificador. Un dispositivo de usuario está en comunicación con la localización en la nube y el decodificador a través de una red. El dispositivo de usuario revisa la lista de ejecución y selecciona un primer título de contenido de la lista de ejecución para formar una selección. La localización en la nube incluye un dispositivo transcodificador que transcodifica el contenido correspondiente a la selección para formar el contenido transcodificado. Uno de la localización en la nube y el decodificador comunica el contenido transcodificado al dispositivo de usuario.
