Abstract

Se presenta un nuevo aditivo para sistemas de fluidos que sirve para dispersar y mantener los sólidos de sistemas de fluidos en una condición estable y también para "endurecer" el filtro. Los sistemas de fluidos que contienen este aditivo también toleran la contaminación por calcio mejor que los aditivos existentes y, en pruebas realizadas en laboratorio simulando buenas condiciones, los sistemas de fluidos tratados presentan buenas propiedades de fluido a altas temperaturas (por ej. 250ºF) a diferencia de sistemas similares de fluidos tratados con adivitos convencionales y más costosos. En un modelo preferido, una composición o aditivo para uso en la explotación de hidrocarburos incluye un biopolímero derivado de por lo menos una especie de la familia Musaceae.
